Breakfast was worth having and the staff were always helpful, room is comfortable but it's not a hotel just individual rooms. Location is good, however wouldn't stay again. I'd rather be in a hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at Loft Osteria and everything was to our liking. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful and comfortable. And we loved the location. We would stay here again!
I love this property because it is quiet and very close to everything. It's in a great shopping area dining area I would say it's close to most tourists. The only thing I did not like is it has a lot of steps to get into the property don't give your handicap, disabled, elderly, you would 🚫 like this property.
Right opposite to a big church, also located in an artistic area close to old town center. It's a lift with split levels inside, spacious, clean, comfortable with good air-con & Wi-Fi. We were provided VIP access (free drinks and 10% discount for dinner) which is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but included. The only issue is many stairs going up to the apartment is a bit challenging, given my husband has a heart condition and I got my left knee injured. All the rest are good. Still highly recommend it
We stayed on night after arriving from a 16 hour flight from San Francisco. Truly so accommodating. Held our luggage until checkin. Loved the room. The shower was hot and wonderful! The restaurant is lively with lots of fabulous dishes! Our room was quiet; it overlooked the street and church. Lovely balcony! Beautiful old floors, 16’ ceilings and 12’ French doors. If you want more of Argentine charm this is it, with modern bath! Love to come back again soon!

Liked: Staff & service
We enjoyed our stay at Loft Osteria by Sagardi. In terms of location, you really can’t beat it! San Telmo is lovely and the hotel is located in a quaint cobblestoned street that is quiet for sleeping, but close to shopping and dining options, as well as a grocery store and the market. The staff are pleasant and the simple breakfast of toast or croissants, coffee and orange juice was very tasty. We also appreciated the fresh towels each day. This is an old building, with some of the issues you might expect, but overall a decent option for travellers looking for a safe, affordable place to stay. I do think the room would benefit from a deep clean as it was a bit grubby in spots, but the linens were fresh and the toilet and sink were cleaned each day. One recommendation I would make to the owner is to attach a bottle opener to the wall in the mini-kitchen. The hotel provided two bottles of mineral water but you need an opener to remove the caps and I noticed guests had damaged the table and stairs trying to pry off the bottle caps, which is a shame. Overall, this hotel is a good option for travellers of the “cheap and cheerful” variety who just want a comfortable place to sleep while they enjoy their visit to Buenos Aires.
Checked out after 1 night, was supposed to stay for 4 nights. Horrible experience all the way through. Let’s start with check in and service - very little English and argued that I should pay for something I already paid for. Be aware of this. Couldn’t check in an hour early, which is fair. Came back and another one greeted me. She spoke English and was kind and serviceminded. Went out for the day and came back for dinner at the restaurant. No one spoke English at the restaurant, but food was good. In the room, the noise was excessive and sounded like an engine neutral gear was in the room at all times, and the room was very basic. The make the pictures look way better than reality. The final straw came the day after for breakfast, where they came in with 5 small slices of bread and arrogantly asked me to pay more, if I wanted a full breakfast, even though it stated that breakfast was included. Afterwards so checked out and never came back - overall terrible experience, and cannot recommend to anyone.

Terrible wifi. I'm possible to work from this hotels wifi in your room.
I the booked the suite to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. A couple weeks before our arrival we were informed that the suite was broken so they would provide a different room. Imagine our surprise when other guest were staying in the suite. The hotel staff lied.
We arrived early and left our bags in the restaurant area where the hotel lobby is situated. We asked if we could wait by the rooftop pool. We were informed that the pool is broken. I guess it's been broken for 4 years!!!!!
The hotel front desk service should have more customer relation training.
You get a small bottle of water when you check in, afterwards you pay for it.
The restaurant must be under different management as it is and has always been very good.
Honestly check out the curio Hilton right in the san telmo square, it's beautiful, about the same price and I'm sure much better kept.
I would be hesitant to book rooms and pee pay as the hotel is not investing in itself at this point.
what about what i dislike, not cleaning the rooms everyday, have to ask for towels and toilet paper, the suite room with out a single hanging hook, not enough chairs, it could use a small table for the balcony, more clothe hangers, please do something about the dozen of flies hanging in the room every day …
a curtain for the diving doors between rooms , such poor design of bathroom/ shower area , if curtains opened they see you naked from across the street…
not sure you should call suite at your most noisy room …
but the ladies down below at restaurant were awesome !!
Although my stay was very comfortable an unfortunate incident occurred that merits a warning to all who may choose this place for future accommodation.
I left the property to check the local sites.
My room was locked (I unfortunately forgot to close the safe) and when I returned a considerable amount of money was missing. The only one who who could have possibly taken it would be someone with a key to the room. When I let the management know they initially seemed concerned and supportive. Assuring me they would deal with it and let me know as soon as possible.
Weeks went by, no response, not until I reached out again. Even though the room was locked they felt I failed in my responsibility to lock the safe.
As disturbing as that is the fact that they never got back to me until I prompted them to do so is more concerning. Very unprofessional!
The is a deeply run down property that rents rooms - it's not really a hotel. The doors to the rooms/apartments don't close properly - you are forever mucking about with pulling the wooden doors and turning the keys. The blinds above the entrance doors get stuck in the doors and you cant move them as you can reach them - you'll be mucking about with it for ages. The kitchen had cob webs on it - clearly not cleaned for a while and evidently not checked before being let out. The room has got windows closed off with blinds staples to them and the weird art work on the ceiling clearly covers something nasty. Electrics behind the bed were exposed - myriad of cables and junction boxes not sealed. These are basics of a let properly. The courtyard is falling apart and the chairs are not usable. The fabric is coming off and there are puddles of water laying on what fabric remains. The bathroom is painted black so you can't see the dirt. Best not to look too hard or you might end up leaving. Incase like me you thought there was a pool there is not. It has been closed off for years and the court years left is a dumping ground for the owners. Should be a lovely place but it's at best a one star stay. Refund please. If you'd like photos of any of the above please do let me know.
I would definitely not recommend staying here. We booked this place for 2 days. Firstly checking in takes about an hour. Then we got in and the wifi never worked. The air condition never worked either and it was unbearably hot to the point where it was uncomfortable to sleep. We go and ask their staff and they said theyll look into it while we were away. We come back they never did because it was still boiling hot. Then we go down and ask again and the same guy who said he would look into it said he didnt see an issue and didnt know what we were talking about and refused to do anything about it. We emailed them via expedia and to this day its been a few weeks we have never heard back. We couldnt complete our stay here we ended up leaving early and booking somewhere else because the wifi never worked and the living conditions was so unbearable and uncomfortable. We dropped off our keys and i told the girl that it was just too hot to stay and she responded say that sucks. Worst customer service I've ever seen in my life.
My husband and I booked Loft Osteria by Sagardi for our trip to Buenos Aires. We booked 9 nights. Our flight was originally scheduled to arrive in BA at 10 am but we were delayed and didn't arrive until 1 am. The hotel does not have a reception, rather a desk in the restaurant. You must check in before 11 pm or you cannot get your keys. Thank goodness for internet on the flight because I had to frantically book another room for our first night. Don't be left on the street, just book somewhere else for your entire stay.
The next day we got our keys to our room. It is sub par at best. The room itself is quite beat up. While I understand that it is in a historical building, they could have done some repairs. Besides the squeaky floors, hard and uncomfortable bed, lack of pillows, thin towels, we also had an issue with the shower not draining and the toilet never stopped running. On top of those things, there is visible mold on the ceiling around the air conditioner. There is a beautiful patio outside but don't sit down. Despite no rain for weeks here, there was water in every cushion I tried and I ended up with wet pants.
If you struggle with stairs this hotel could also be a problem. There is no elevator. You alone will have to drag your bags up 30 very steep steps to the rooms. All rooms are up those steps. Then when you get up there if you have a loft room (which we did and we knew) you will have more steps to get to the bed. We could do the steps but when carrying everythi
