The general manager avoided me until I emailed him direct and demanded he call me. "I couldn’t ask for more, such a lovely little cottage in the most perfect location. The house has everything you need, modern and new. Literally 3 feet out the door is the Tyrrhenian Sea, in all it’s clarity and deep turquoise and blue. Despite a couple days of rain, it was very comfortable and enjoyable. Hosts are very responsive and available if needed. Can’t wait to return!"

"We booked for a week but left after 3 days. We are tough but not that tough. A neighbour was burning leaves 24/7. We couldn't go outside or open a window. It hurt our eyes and throats. Regine said she called but nothing changed. We gave her an opportunity to make good when we told her we had to leave and find a hotel but nothing was offered.
