Very unique hotel. My first time staying at a Moxy. It is good for quick weekend trips or just short stays in general. Close proximity to restaurants and night life of Budapest. Would stay again.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel Moxy. The room was clean daily, all the staff were kind and very helpful, and it was by far the best continental hotel breakfast I had ever eaten. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in Budapest, and I will happily return there.

The hotel was clean and even though it was very close to the busy part of the city, it was on a quiet side street. I really didn't use any of the amenities except having a drink at the bar before I called it a day, but the staff there was very helpful. When I needed to check out they were very efficient, and had called a cab for me the day before, so it was there when I needed it.

Nice hotel in central location. It’s in the Jewish area. But hotel is very minimal in terms of amenities. No drawers, tv, phone in rooms. But rooms are clean. Also, we were on the first floor facing a busy street and the noise level from people partying at late hours of the night prevented us from getting a good night’s sleep Loud noise from people laughing, yelling etc went on till 3 or 4 am!!

What a refreshing hotel lobby, modern looking, with Foosball, lots of seats, and a bar. Easy check-in with friendly staff. Modern rooms and clean. It's designed for travelers in mind. Rooftop bar. Great location in the old Jewish town, a short walk to most attractions and transit. The rooms are smaller than usual but designed well. We upgraded to deluxe. Great value. We loved it.

Moxy hotels are always fun and about the vibe… this one had all that at an outstanding price…. You just have to be comfortable being down some well-graffitied narrow streets. Breakfast was good, staff excellent, rooms small… the usual Moxy way!

First and foremost the front desk was extremely helpful as we arrived super early and they allowed us to check in after our long flight. That in itself made the stay wonderful. Secondly the location couldn’t be better. It was right in the middle of all the excitement and very central on the Pest side of town. But if anyone is looking for quiet and calm, this should not be your choice. I would highly recommend it to everyone who is visiting Budapest for a few days and want to explore and experience the city.

Beautiful, new, trendy hotel. Staff were lovely! A bit of a funny smell, but we figured it’s bc the hotel is so new? The AC didn’t get very cold and constantly shut off, making it hard to keep the room cool and not damn feeling.

Very new hotel hence clean. Great lobby and share spaces but the rooms have very basic features. There is no tea or coffee making in room. There are no wardrobes. Only good for very short stay. We stayed for 4 nights and had to just keep our suitcases on the floor. Not what I expect for a Marriott brand

Negatives: female member of staff with black hair was rude/dismissive when I was collecting room card (25/09), not the original receptionist who took my passport and credit card details when checking in. No welcome or have a nice stay from the second receptionist, she needs additional training from hotel on dealing with customers. Although room on 4th floor, could not sleep because external bar below had loud music and people shouting till 5am. When I went to reception at 3:30am to complain, I was told by male receptionist I could phone the Police, nothing the hotel could do to stop it. If the hotel is aware of the bar’s noise, which it was, and opening hours, they shouldn’t be letting out rooms beside it. Positives: the members of staff (young male and female) I spoke with at reception at 9am (26/09) were brilliant, as was the acting manager. They saved the situation. I was allocated another room elsewhere in the hotel which was great. Hotel well situated and breakfast was good.

Pros: kind staff at the front desk, buffet breakfast available (14 € pp). Trendy interior design. Quiet at night on 5th floor despite it being a busy street. Con: note that the air conditioning does not work as you would expect, the room temperature stays around 24°C due to energy conservation and this was not communicated to clients! I informed the hotel multiple times about the issue and got multiple answers varying from temperature being set to 24° C and won't get cooler, to " we checked your AC and everything is working fine and it should cool down to 21° C. It was frustrating to go back and forth without much resolution during my three nights day. (The air conditioning only works when you're in the room and it took a long time to get comfortable to sleep) Very surprised that this is a Marriott Hotel in terms of not meeting certain standards. Also note that there is no additional amenities in the room such as mini fridge, kettle, coffee or tea. Water is available through a water dispenser near the elevator (no water bottles in the room).

Very clean new property great bed very efficient. No fridge in the room or coffee maker. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Also no phone in the room. Lighting was a little modern and difficult to understand. Highly recommend upscale maybe not so good for families with small children.
