The staff were extremely nice and helpful, they also booked us a transfer to airport and made sure we had breakfast boxes to take as flight was early, the hotel is in a great location and very quiet, the spa and pool were amazing also.

Good hotel. Direct access to the river walk path. Good bus connection to city centre. Walking to city though park also possible. Wellness facilities/pools are good. Service and staff was good. Breakfast buffet is basic, could have more healthier options or self made options.

Perfect tranquil stay

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is stunning, quiet and peaceful but also a walkable distance the hustle and bustle. The spa is perfect to relax after miles of walking. Breakfast was lovely and a good selection each morning. Staff were all super friendly. We would happily stay here again.

This is a charming but dated hotel which is what I expected. The staff is very friendly and Margaret Island is beautiful. Easy access to the rest of the city by the 26 bus or just walk the beautiful walkways.

Lovely property and staff willing to make the stay really enjoyable. We went to the sister hotel first in error (next door) and the difference in front desk staff was stark. We came for the F1 and the only complaint would be it is a far distance for metro lines and you have to grab a taxi or bus to get back on the island.

I love this hotel mainly because of it's location. I have been here several times over the years. Unfortunately, I got the impression that the current staff cannot cope with the hotel being full. In Ensana Grand, there is no bar. The Boroka cafe is just awful. The cafe at the otherhotel is always full and you have to wait for service as staff are overworked.

I really enjoyed my time at Ensana Grand, and hope I can come back someday! My one improvement would be a more flexible wellness package included in the price of the stay - I had pool and sauna access included in my reservation, but I am not a pool or sauna person! If I could somehow switch this out for a limited amount of treatments, like the basic facials or massages, that would've been a game-changer.
