We loved our stay at Buda Castle Hotel. It was on the Buda side of the city, a very short walk to the Fisherman’s Bastion and very convenient to the bus lines. The breakfast was great with lots of choices on offer. As a senior in Budapest, all public transportation was free, so it was very easy to travel anywhere in the city.

Great location, very near to Bastion but in very lovely, quiet street. Very nice area with plenty of great places to eat and drink if you dont want to across the river to city center. Hotel is very clean with nice staff. Breakfast was not massive choice but was just fine for me, with hot or cold choices. Room was spacious and overlooked the quiet street. Comfy bed and slept well. Shower head was positioned so that most of the water hit the floor, sink plug did not work. Otherwise hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Be aware this hotel is right at the top of the hill in Buda so bit for those with limited mobility.
