"Lovely place, just off a main road so a handy break in my trip from Poprad Tatry Airport to Hlinne.
Staff were friendly and helpful - and they spoke English, which was a definite advantage for me.
They also have English menus. My previous stay, somewhere with no English menus or speakers, wasn't pleasant, but this stay was.
Before anyone comments. I was in their country so they didn't have to speak English or have English menus - but it helps. "

"Rum, dusch, wifi, tv och säng var bra. Frukost var bra och värdar var trevliga. Men svårt att kommunicera få ingen kan engelska. Det stod på min bokning att rum städas varje dag. Det stämmer inte. Fick säga till om nya handdukar. Aska kvar i askkopp på balkong när vi checkade in (rökfritt rum). Det stod också bemannad reception vilket inte stämmer. Läget är bra. "

"Flexibel met inchecken, ik had twaalf uur aangegeven, maar was ruim een half uur te laat ivm trein vertraging en verdwalen. Was geen probleem, en kreeg ook nog een drankje van het huis, wellicht vanwege zilver niveau. Ook nog eens erg leuke vrouw bij de receptie.
Ik was er vanwege het EK onder 21, stadion lag op loopafstand."

"I stayed at Hotel Carpe Diem for nine nights. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and quiet, the breakfast options were good, and it is a short walk to all the attractions in the old town. Highly recommend. "
