Very friendly staff, clean and nice hotel, very enjoyable stay. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Great location also, near metros and different areas with plenty to do.

I had a very positive stay at the Aqua Hotel. The location is excellent — just a 2-minute walk to the bus stop and underground station, and only a 15-minute walk to the center of Brussels. The room was clean, well-ventilated, and had a great shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Mel, who went above and beyond with support, tips, and advice — she really made my stay special! Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Brussels.

So this was a great hotel, staff were excellent and positioned about 4 stops from the main train station. The room had alot of room and the bed was massive. Our only problem was it had that typical bathroom door were you can see everything going on inside, plugs no where near the bed and the main lights not being that bright. Overall great hotel to set up base in.

Had a very comfortable stay. Quiet and clean. The family room was 2 ajoined rooms and I appreciated that there were separate beds for my kids. Only problem was the walk in shower didn't drain well and flooded the bathroom and hall after less than 5 minutes. Apprently this is a common problem and the staff just gave us extra towels to clean up the water that overflowed.

Great if you get the right room

This hotel was absolutely wonderful - if you get the right room. First I got a room in the basement which was awful, but I asked to switch and got a beautiful room with amazing view. The hotel all in all is great, but it's a bit strange they had the same price for such different rooms. The ones in the basement should be half price.

Electronics were hanging our, shower was not cleaned and there was reinforcement right in the middle of the room which made it super hard to use. Toilet was in a closet size room and shower was separate. Also breakfast was extremely low quality

Kind reception, pretty good location, breakfast wasn't too bad. The room we got was in the basement with a tiny window and a huge pillar in the middle. TV was on adjacent wall rather than opposite to bed which was very diffcult to watch in the evening, addtionally no streaming services available. Booked a room with queen size bed, good two twin put together with two separate mattresses and a small topper which made it very uncomfortable in the middle. I get that 'every room is different' but I payed the same price so would expect same level of comfort and amenities

Although it is a 5-minute walk from a major posh shopping street, the immediate surrounding area is a little creepy after dark (dirty, dark, graffiti- and trash-covered). However, the hotel itself is bright and safe and clean. I didn’t interact much with staff but although a few were brusque, most of them (especially those late at night) were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and generous. The room I was in was compact but well appointed and perfect for my needs since I don’t expect or want frills. I ask for a comfortable bed with clean bedding, functioning and clean plumbing, and a sense of security. I got that. Once I got used to the street, I was very happy with my choice and will likely return the next time I am in the city.

The reception staffs were nice. There was a confusion about the tag provided in the room. I was looking for Do Not Disturb tag first night, couldn't find one so I left out the one provided on the bed. The tag says, "The best carbon footprint is the one we don't emit. I participate by hanging the door tie on my bedroom door before 8 am." I wasn't able to realize it was supposed to be a "please clean my room" tag until I got disturbed 3 times in the day, and expected to change the towels on the second night but no one came to change. It was a misunderstanding but you could do better to make the door tie more clear. Additionally, the hallway on ground floor was renovating, therefore some smells of paint and noise during the day was a little bit annoying.
