"My Husband and I stayed here one night as we passed through on our way home to Missouri. It was very cute and clean. The outhouse was not bad at all. "I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!"

"This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"

"I loved the easy entry to the property. Using a number I know instead of something I would need to remember makes it a breeze. The amenities were great. Very clean. The rug in front of the main door kept getting caught under the door because of the fluffy carpet which was inconvenient so I moved it. I would stay here again and recommend it to others!"

"We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. "We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!"
