Hotel is una GREAT location!! We were a little concerned about the “no staff at the property to check in-out” but it was very easy and very convenient to get in with your personal code, besides they respond to your messages. They don’t have early check ins but they allowed us to leave our luggage in our room after 11:30 am and be back after 3:30 when our room was clean and ready for our stay. Room was small but was clean and perfect for us. We will definitely recommend it and we will definitely stay there again!

Location was exceptional and it’s very quiet and comfortable. But it’s very basic - there’s coffee but no tea, no cream or sugar, no fridge, no one to ask if you have a problem. ROMY needs to work with Apple Maps because it was VERY difficult to find. And you need roaming in order to get instructions for how to get into the room, which was a problem for me because roaming wasn’t working as it was supposed to so I was locked out and there’s no one there to help

The facility was centrally located with easy walks to the sites and restaurants. Shopping was likewise close and offered fresh baked goods to a useful supermarket. If clothes shopping is your thing there was an overwhelming amount of choices.

Honestly, I liked the hotel and the location was great! Check in was a bit challenging as there is no reception desk. It was all done online. My room was nice and clean. Biggest issue was NO hot water the last 2 days. Not ideal at all when you need to take a shower. Hope they get that fixed? As I mentioned earlier, the location is great!

The loft space at Hotel Marcel was perfect for a weekend visit to Bruges. It offered 2 bedrooms, ample space, a little kitchenette, and was very clean. The location was perfect—close to the centre but also quiet at night.

Location was very good and rooms were clean, although more attention to details is needed. I booked well in advance when they were not contactless, the switch over to no reception was problematic; I chose this hotel because it originally offered luggage storage now that was unavailable. I messaged them and was told I could have early check in, shortly before arrival I was told this was dependent on cleaning. I did get early check in eventually. Also, the rooms were paid for in full. When I arrived I received a message saying they were not, so I had search and provide them with proof from receipts, bank account, etc. I found this frustrating. They did respond promptly to messages. Door/room entry info was provided that was confusing—would be simpler to understand if they provided 2 lines of code, 1 for the door, 1 for the room. We are experienced travelers and this was the 7th hotel we stayed at this trip with no issues until Hotel Marcel.
Attention to details needed.

Room and beds were great, water pressure and temperature while showering was somewhat inconsistent, but likely due to timing in the morning. Noise insulation was not great, we could hear lots of noise from the streets outside and the guests above us apparently were completely rearranging their furniture for an hour or so which was very loud in our room.
