"So charming and comfortable! This space was perfect for a mother-daughter weekend getaway. It would be great for a couple too--or even a couple plus one or two children.The kitchen space had everything we needed, though we didn't cook there. If our stay had been longer, we would have used more of the kitchen. It has a remarkable amount of countertop space for such a compact space. Great pantry and bedroom storage closets. Easy in and out and off-street parking. The bedroom is spacious and the living room is perfectly sized and cozy. The bathroom is small but adequately functional, and the owners have really paid attention to how to maximize function in that small space with hooks, shelves, well-placed everything. You can tell that they tested what works to determine where to put such little details. Our trip was quick--two days--and packed with activities that meant we spent very little time in the unit except for sleeping, but the approach and surroundings are just so very Lowcounty: Huge oaks hung with Spanish moss, a nearby waterway or lagoon of some type where all the water birds come in to roost in the evenings. I loved waking to the sound of the birds starting their morning. (My teen daughter wasn't a fan of those birds, but that's just how many teens are. Next time, she can bring earplugs and sleep in a little longer.) We really had everything we needed. We did make use of the park pass to visit Hunting Island, and that was such a nice addition to the rental package."

"Perfect place for a weekend with friends. The house was very clean and as described. The host was very good with communicating with us and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. "

"Nice, cean house, basic amenities provided, beautiful location. A very pleasant stay, five stars. Consider bringing an extension cord as there are no exterior wall outlets, or bedside lamps. Bring all needed toiletries; and coffee. "

"MY TRIP STARTED OUT FINE BUT ENDED ON A BAD NOTE. THE HOME LOST INTERNET AND THE HOST TOLD ME TO DISCONNECT WIFI AND PLUG BACK IN. ALL THE BED MATTRESSES NEED UPGRADING. ONE WAS HARD AS A ROCK, MY BED WHICH WAS ADJUSTABLE WAS UNEVEN AND IT ROCKED IF YOU SAT ON THE EDGE OF THE BED. THERE WAS ALSO A TOILET THAT I HAD TO KEEP TAKING THE TOP OF SO THAT IT WOULD FLUSH. THERE WAS ALSO AN ALARM SYSTEM WHICH NEVER WORKED EVENTHOUGH WE TOLD HOST ON THE FIRST DAY. I MENTIONED ALL THESE TO HOST AND REQUESTED SOME COMPENSATION FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND WAS MET WITH A EMAIL SCATHING ME SAYING ALL COULD HAVE BEEN FIXED SOONER. I DEALT WITH THE OTHER ISSUES MYSELF BUT WHEN THE INTERNET CUT OFF THAT WS THE LAST STRAW. I INCURRED A 15 FEE FROM MY WIRELESS COMPANY FOR HAVING TO USE MY OHONE AS A HOT SPOT AND USING UP ALL OF MY DATA. HOST DID NOT OFFER ANY COMPENSATION AND WASNT NICE AT ALL ABOUT THE ISSUES WITH HER HOUSE. THIS HOUSE NEEDS SOME UPKEEP."
