"The hotel is beautiful and the room was pristine and comfortable. We had a deck with great views. We enjoyed the hotel's lovely piazza for dinner and late night drinks. Highly recommend."

Sela V Hotel

Sela V Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We planned an anniversary weekend in the Brooklyn Naval Yard to see the Gorillaz House of Kong exhibition and wanted a nice hotel that was walking distance to the yard and restaurants. What a surprise Sela V was, we booked the Bridge Loft and my first impression was that of wonderment; large comfortable king bed in a massive spacious open area. We had a few drinks at the bar which is in a wonderful open area with a wall of guitars and amplifier stacks (decorative), a piano and an intriguing spiral staircase made of books. I didn't realize this was such a new hotel and we really look forward to seeing how they proceed - I really hope that the attention to detail and high standards continue."

"Rooms are tiny and dated if you get the smallest room size. Train is directly next door and loud. Club on roof is loud. Beautiful lobby."

"Great location, near the subway and food. Bed very comfortable. Room was clean although furniture was a little dated. Downside, is the noise from the subway and street. Ask for a room on the backside of the hotel. Bathroom a little on the small side, but had everything that was needed."

Arlo Williamsburg

Arlo Williamsburg

8/10 Good
"One of the nicer all around decent hotels we stayed in and during our trip - almost all staff wasn't informative. And very helpful. There was one staff who was continuously assuming that my name was my bf's name even after seeing my ID - but not the biggest deal just moved on but it was weird. Other than that some of the most helpful kind staff from ALL our hotels we stayed at this trip. The ladies were absolutely lovely. The elevator was extremely annoying! There was a party that people that we're not saying at the hotel were coming in for and it took 5 + minues to stand waiting for an elevator then when it arrived i was in an elevator with 12 othe bodies in my pajamas while they went to the rooftop - I feel this was extremely inconsiderate and there were 2 elevators extra they chose not to run all night long. at least keep those two elevators dedicated to the guest and the other to the party"
