"The apartment is really great and everything is brand new. But the agency forgot to send check in instructions, we called them and were all set. Be aware to get instructions 2 days before or call them. In VRBO the location was directly on the water, in reality not at all. If you want to stay in this area, the location is great but we drove every day to Acadia park or supermarket about 25-30 minutes. Yes, I would recommend this accommodation and would like to stay here again."

"Nice new apartment upstairs of the garage. It’s a spacious single room (except the bathroom of course), nicely laid out with pleasant lighting through windows looking out towards the trees. The “kitchen” is minimal: a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, water kettle and coffee maker. Sufficient for our needs but not enough for an extended stay. Given that the rental is a one-room studio with laminate flooring, the pet fee seemed a bit steep, but the apartment itself was a good bargain...

"The amenities were fantastic. The kids loved the pool house, which included a pool table, foosball, and ping-pong tables. The gym and laundry facilities were also nice. The room was clean and seemed recently renovated, but there was an odd smell, that we couldn't get rid of. The receptionist gave us an odor eliminator but it didn't help. The drawers in the bedroom were also visible broken and fallen in. Unfortunately, the hotel was full and they couldn't switch our room. The rooms were huge. It was nice to have a separate bedroom. In the living room there was a full fridge and stove, which was nice, but they aren't built with appropriate ventilation so if anyone is cooking/baking the smell quickly diffuses to the hallways to share with all the other guests. We opted to eat out. Most important to consider- we were on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator, so we needed to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. With kids this required multiple trips. We were fine, but this is a serious limitation if you aren't able bodied or have full-sized/heavy suitcases. The limitation should be appropriately advertised when booking."

"When choosing a room, make sure you check the photos carefully. I thought we booked an Ocean front, Ocean view. The hotel has 2 different rooms for that description. One does have an Ocean view, but you are overlooking the pool and lawn area. The other room, Ocean front, Ocean view, is called a suite, and it is right by the water. Different perspective. I had stayed at the one labeled "Suite" and is building 2, We booked a Premium, Ocean front, Ocean view and it is in main building and didn't realize the difference. Just check the photos carefully."
