"It was easy to find the flat and plenty of parking. We stayed at level 3, room no 5. Unfortunately a very strong drainage smell was coming out of the toilet which stunk the bedroom. The curtains won't close. The shower was dirty. We alerted the owner of this who admitted there was a drainage issue in the building that has been causing the smell. He said at 10:30pm at night if we didnt like it we could leave. The next day, despite admitting to the problem the night before he then denied it...

"Luxurious apartment newly decorated private living room with excellent kitchen great view silent place at 5th floor with lift ! Reception very helpful thank You Eduardo . Very clean with comfy bed in sleeping room. 2 bathrooms. Fast wifi superb aircon. Ovearall perfect place in Catania clise to museums. Only half minute from alibus stops to airport metro and many buses. Almost at Via Etnea with many shops I will come back as soon as possible . Highly recommend. "

"The location was perfect and the penthouse unit was suburb. Has everything you need. Staff was very friendly. On Saturday night there were a lot of young adult locals partying loud and late in the front parking area which was annoying and disruptive to our sleep "

The village is very peaceful and quiet at night being about 20 minutes walk from the noisy and traffic congested sea front, so coming back after an evening out we appreciated our quiet site. There is a lovely view of Mount Etna when we opened the shutters in the morning. The pool is very inviting and there are plenty of sun loungers."

"We had a deeply disappointing experience at Zen Escape. Despite booking a Family Suite with 2 queen beds, we were given a smaller Deluxe Suite with only 1 bed and an unprepared sofa. "Property was wonderful - was hoping for a heated pool, but no, so no swimming. Staff and our room were great. The only thing that could use some attention are the bathrooms/showers in the lobby and there wasn’t a secure room to store luggage after checkout. "
