Welcome to the "wasp season" from November to December and early spring! During chilly nights and early mornings, followed by warm days, wasps tend to gather on rooftops in search of warmth. While it doesn't necessarily mean there's a wasp nest in the house, they are essentially in hibernation mode, seeking cozy spots.
Generally, they won't bother you much, but we kindly ask you to keep the cabin doors and windows shut to prevent them from entering. Just a heads-up: there's wasp spray conveniently located under the kitchen sink in case you need it, but do not spray over the furniture!
Stay buzz-free and enjoy your time in the cabin!
Please note that this is a forested area, and there are times when the Oklahoma Forestry Service enforces a burning ban in the area. Fines can be upwards of $1000. Please check online for the current burn ban status before using the outdoor firepit.

Loved the location and layout of the cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable. Appliances/fireplace/hot tub/wifi all worked perfectly. Will book again
The entire experience was easy. The hosts did a great job of communicating the checkin/out process as well as providing a manual of things to do around town. The house was extremely clean and we had no issues with the amenities. Would highly recommend staying here!
This was a wonderful cabin tucked away in Beavers Bend. Very nice and clean. Nick made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend the Caspian Cottage for your next stay.
Great communication with the host, property was spotless clean, very nice place we will definitely be back to stay again!! The master bedroom and master shower are amazing!!! The back porch with the hot tub and seating area are perfect. Would absolutely recommend staying here.
My wife and I stayed in the Broken Bow-Hochatown area for 3 nights at Caspian Cottage. It's spacious, beautfully furnished and immaculate. Close to Beaver Bend State Park and many other attractions. Nick and Stacy were outstanding hosts and made sure we were comfortable and happy with their home. You can't go wrong with Caspian Cottage!!
Property was fantastic. Its location is nestled in the woods, but yet you are close to everything. There is a loop trail that you can walk to from the front door, and a short drive to the lake. We enjoyed our stay for the eclipse!
Quiet beautiful cabin. You can see the stars at night too. Great location! Perfect place to relax and get away! Owners are easily reachable if you would happen to need anything. Definitely can’t wait to go back!!!!!!r
Everything was perfect! The cabin was clean and inviting and it provided everything we needed! We highly recommend staying here! The location was awesome as we were right by everything that we had plans for. It is near the Grateful Head pizza place as well as the go-carts! Thank you so much!
Cabin was absolutely beautiful, had all the essentials. Burn ban in effect, so we couldn’t build a fire, but this was not the owner’s fault. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the patio/deck, with full privacy. Nick was very responsive and checked in each day to see if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!!
The stay was lovely. The kids loved the spiral staircase and everything was as it was in the listing. The host checked in multiple times throughout the weekend to make sure everything was good. We'll be back.
The property was very clean and the host was very helpful. Check in and out was seamless and easy. Nice outdoor space, but the outdoor tv couldnt connect to wifi, so we couldnt watch it outdoors. The hottub was nice. Lots of seating and indoor and outdoor games. Loved the master shower. Would stay here again.
Lodging was as advertised. Access to host was as advertised. Attention to minor inconveniences was immediate, yet unresolved . No fault for trying . Big picture , the place was welcoming , the scenery impressive . Would definitely revisit
The property was great the road to the cabin was terrible.
I did not look over the paperwork because I thought I had booked it for three nights. We thought we had a little more time. overall, it was very good.

Great location and awesome property.
This was a good getaway. The cabin and location were great. There were two things that I felt were off that I need to share. It is listed as boat friendly but it is located up a semi steep rut filled gravel path with no level parking. Second was the requirement to send a copy of my drivers license and other personal information outside of VRBO. I did not want to share it but unfortunately, the verbiage intimated I would lose my money if I didn’t. It felt invasive.
This place is great - better than the pictures. Lots of extras to make the stay enjoyable. We were only here for the weekend and had activities lined up for most of it but it was nice coming back to suck a nice place. Had a blast staying up late playing scrabble and watching a movie on the deck.
However, some of the cleaning was not quite up to snuff. The dishes had a layer of dust on them, some of the coffee cups were dirty. In addition to half the lights and jets not working, the hot tub smelled like dead fish which made it hard to enjoy. Everything outside was dirty - which I appreciate would be hard to keep clean in the woods surrounded by gravel roads.
