Looks like Future Inns has taken over an old hotel and it shows. But the service from reception was excellent, including validating my parking ticket. There ought to be directions for getting there from Cabot Circus car park.

Good value considering it was so close to city centre and public transport, which was what I wanted. Very helpful desk staff. Comfortable room. Restaurant attached to it had good menu, and there are many more restaurants across the road in shopping centre too.

The hotel felt very unloved. Our room was OK, but the bottom sheet didn’t fit - it was too small, the mattress protector underneath was also too small and very uncomfortable. The shower gets/soap was poor quality and the towels were thin and old.

Spacious room with all necessary facilities like ironing board, iron, full size hair dryer. Lots of storage. Can hear sirens and any loud noises outside as its in city centre. But overall decent stay. Room smelt fine but areas around had a smell.

Welcomed nicely by reception Room was nice but right opposite lifts, so lots of noise from guests coming and going. Could hear the housekeepers talking and complaining about the rooms and guests when cleaning. Shower head was filthy and didn’t work properly. So had to clean it myself to get it spray correctly. Was nice to have free parking in the multi store next door which was big benefit. Overall good but could have been better.

Very clean and very professional looking hotel Really pleased with the room and the facilities on offer I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to town and who may require the transport links

Spacious room with reasonable temperature control. Comfortable bed with good selection of pillows. Very convenient for Cabot Circus. Parking next door. Good breakfast selection. Staff helpful.

Nice clean and pleasant hotel. Friendly staff and very handy for city centre and attractions. About 20 min walk to station. Only comment - breakfast was expensive - so ate out in preference. But would book again - and in fact second time I have stayed here.

Good hotel to spend a night in Bristol when visiting the HiFi show. Close to the event, quiet (if your room is at the back), the Cabot shopping centre is across the road and there are lots of dining option nearby. I walked there from Temple Meads station, very easy. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast and good selection of free hot drinks in the room

Great hotel as it is close to the shops. Parking in Cabot Service is really convenient and £9 for 24 hrs if the hotel validates the ticket. Bed was too soft for me, which I found uncomfortable but didnt spoil my stay. The lights in the room are not great, either all on or all off. Reception staff very nice and helpful. Food in the hotel was okay but preferredto eat out on our 2nd night.

Great hotel, disappointing restaurant.
I genuinely love this hotel. I love that you have a guaranteed parking space just a short walk from the hotel. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and the lovely soft bathrobe in my room this time was much appreciated. The shower is huge with plenty of hot water and the toiletries are a nice touch as are the bottles of water and free biscuits (replaced each day). The bed is comfy, the television large and the free wifi just about enough to support my online teaching each evening. It's a great stopover that I have often used. My only bugbear with the place (as in my previous reviews) is the restaurant. As a single lady I like to get in, eat and leave as quickly as possible. I don't want to be brought a menu and drink and to be left for 20 mins when I have already chosen my meal from the very limited menu which is displayed in the lift. After 20 mins when the only thing that I am vaguely tempted with is 'not available' I am more than a little put out. The restaurant manager was lovely and personable and attempted to make light of the situation, it is clearly not his fault. The food takes ages to come (the restaurant is not busy so I presume it has to be cooked from the freezer) and is mediocre at least. On my second night I didn't bother eating - good for my diet but a shame for the restaurant. Overall a great stay but I suggest you eat elsewhere.

Pros: location is so handy, right in front of Cabot Circus shopping district. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Cons: noisy drunk guests were slamming their door several times, talking loud in the hallway, which kept me awake until 3am first day. The guest rooms may need better soundproof and/or doors that close quietly. When checked in, the bathroom mirror was dirty and some toilet paper was in the loo - the rest of the room was clean.
