Easy information for check in, well decorated but...plugs hanging off. wall lights not working, smelt of cigarette smoke and the shower was very weak and constantly changed from hot to cold. Very good value for a night's stay, just a few points that could be addressed

Hen night getaway

Amazing hotel! Polite and kind staff! Needed a last minute saviour for a hen night accommodation and this place was a needle in a haystack but such a good find! Reasonable price, staff were very nice and had no issues with us being a hen group with decorations for the room etc

The room was pleasant and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful, making the most out of our stay. It was in a perfect location as it is walking distance to the lanes and the seafront, yet also in a quiet and safe location. It was a perfect choice to stay affordable and discover Brighton. The only downside was the heat at the time but the staff provided fans and still provided a great experience.

The hotel is well decorated, clean and the bed is comfy. However, it's extremely overpriced for what it is. I stayed one night in the tiny single room which is TINY. It smelled strongly of drains and the room was very stuffy. Also worth nothing that the rooms are not sound proof so you can hear every time someone comes up the stairs, talking next door and the traffic and night life outside. So much that they do provide ear plugs (which I was grateful for) Check in was easy enough and decent location.

The property is very near the beach and the coty centre where most restaurants are located. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who showednus our room. The room we had seemed to be newly renovated which is very good. We only stayed for a night and never had any problems from checking in to checking out.

Don't stay in Room No.1!!

Staff very helpful and pleasant but our room, (no.1) was located immediately behind reception and we could hear everything from the desk so I assume they could hear everything from our room which made us uncomfortable. We put the 'do not disturb' sign on our door but the reception staff were very noisy from around 7am including singing! Mattress poor quality- could feel the springs but I suppose that is reflected in the price. If you are happy with basic facilities at cheap rates then it's fair enough. I wouldn't have liked to have stayed more than 2 nights.

Nice room very quiet away from the main part of Brighton. Only negative was the shower, was either freezing cold or boiling hot, no in between. That being said would definitely stay again.
