Situated in the traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth, this popular gated holiday complex contains a number of cosy cottages, converted from former farm buildings. Being conveniently located in the beautiful traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth, a choice of shops and pubs are just a short walk from the door. Charmouth is ideally placed for anyone wanting to explore the Jurassic Coast which was designated as England’s first Natural World Heritage Site. This beautiful stretch of historic coastline spans around 95 miles along the Dorset and Devon coastline and offers some of the finest walks and most beautiful views in Britain. The lovely seaside town of Lyme Regis is just a short drive away and offers an unspoilt seafront with glorious sheltered south-facing beaches. There are many other charming resorts including Beer, Seaton and Branscombe, as well as numerous National Trust properties to discover.
On entering the property you will find yourself in the cosy and welcoming open-plan lounge/dining room which has French doors opening out to the enclosed patio. The lounge area is ideal for sitting back and relaxing in front of the TV/DVD. Enjoy relaxing meals around the dining area while planning your days ahead. Across the hallway is the attractively designed kitchen where you will find all the equipment you may need including an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A washer/dryer is located in a useful utility room just of the kitchen. Also on the ground floor is a wet room with WC. Going upstairs, you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There is a comfy king-size bedroom with a TV and a snug twin room. A bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and WC completes the first floor accommodation.
Stepping outside, you can relax in the private patio area with garden furniture. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared, covered outdoor heated swimming pool (available during specific dates only and not available all year, please refer to the 'need to know' section for details), Char Valley coffee shop which serves teas, coffees, milk shakes, ice creams and biscuits, and a shared outdoor children's play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults, is the well-equipped Char Valley Health Club, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
