"Host was responsive to messages and was able to direct us to someone who spoke better english when help with navigation to the hotel was requested. However, the hotel was never provided on the vrbo page, so the initial address sent us to the incorrect area of the property and we had to circle the area and call the host to direct us to the accurate location. Upon arrival, the host was not on site and his mother checked us in. The pool was a HUGE disappointment. We booked this place...

The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. "The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...

"We loved our stay at Hibiscus with our 1yr old son. The lovely team gave us a travel cot, toys for our son and the animals (chickens, ducks, dog) were a hit with him! It walkable (even shorter drive with easy parking) to the beach, easy walk to town. We only wished it had a pool and it would have been even better but that’s our personal preference not an issue with the property. Would highly recommend staying here. Staff are so lovely"
