"Rarely in life does reality exceed expectations, but Sea Dog cottage accomplished this! A beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage with all the comforts of home, it’s the outdoor space that’s the star here. There is a covered deck with dining table as well as Adirondack chairs, which was great for the rainy days. A few steps down a path and one discovers the most perfect seating area overlooking the water, complete with fire pit and hot tub. Could not ask for a more relaxing vacation spot....

"Lovely, clean property with plenty of sleeping spaces for our family of 6 adults. Comfy beds and bedding though 2 of the beds (5 plus a dbl/sgl bunk available) are starting to sag a little in the middle. Quiet. A few minutes walk to Francis Peninsula with great views, moderate hike and sheltered rocky beach. Well appointed kitchen and large expandable table. Within 30 mins of Sechelt and Egmont and 20 mins from Smuggler Cove. Great food when we didn’t cook at the Grasshopper Pub a few minutes...

The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. "After several days of backpacking, this was a great place to stop and rest for the night. Upon arrival we were scooted out to the goat barn to see several baby goats that were just born before got there. Such a treat. Although we were leaving very early we were provided fresh eggs and cream, toast and butter, coffee and tea. The rental itself has everything you could possibly want or need. "This is one of our best stays in a VRBO. Staying on a hobby farm is beyond cool. We got to see the animals feed them it’s so fun; the house is a tiny home designed really well.
