Welcome to the Sugar Shack in the heart of downtown Brevard! We love this little recently renovated house. Walk to downtown in minutes from this cute home with a fenced back yard that's great for dogs. The open floor plan is perfect for entertaining. This house has off street parking and a metal shed for storing bikes and outdoor gear. There is a hose so you can wash off your gear after a day on the trails. FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

Furnishings are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you need except a dishwasher. There is a great front porch and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It's a quick walk from the house to everything Downtown Brevard has to offer, including shopping, dining, breweries, museums and more. The Brevard Music Center is a five minute drive, and you are only a quick drive from many other great bike trails in DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and Gorges State Park. You can get to Pisgah Forest in about five minutes, the DuPont State Forest is about a 15 minute drive, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the beautiful Gorges State Park. Asheville and Hendersonville are both about 40 minutes away, and both feature lots of attractions if you want to take a day trip or two.

Come join us for our annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all).

Cute decor and a well-stocked kitchen made the stay very enjoyable. The backyard was large and two white squirrels ran around. The house was immaculate and very close to shops and restaurants but still pretty quiet at night.

Very cute property. Great location. It has most amenities.... Id like better cooking untinsels as I like cooking in. The backyard is private and secure for you and your dog. Ther are lots of dogs in the neighborhood so this set up worked out great. We didn't feel uncomfortable. Thanks again! I'll keep the Sugar Shack on my list of places to stay in Brevard.

The house is well stocked and is in a wonderful location. We walked to restaurants and stores each day. It is also a short drive to Pisgah National Forest for great hiking and the Cradle of Forestry. We will definitely be back to the Sugar Shack!

Great winter weekend getaway

Property was exactly as it was described, and the pricing was reasonable. Great for our dog, as the fenced backyard was a great feature, and the location allowed us to walk all over the downtown & college area.

Charming bungalow in a great location

The sugar shack is super cute. Our dog enjoyed the fenced backyard. Brevard is very quite at night and the home is a short walk to shops and dining. We were there a week before Helene and I hope Brevard is doing ok after the storm. When western NC is open to tourism again the sugar shack is a good choice for supporting the region as a recovers.

Sugar shack

Nice quant house right outside of downtown Brevard. Easy walking distance to all the amenities of downtown. Short drives to the Pisgah National Forest for hiking. Perfect getaway for the price.

Great Location, cute house

The Sugar Shack was as advertised. Perfect location, minutes to downtown, convenient parking, and nice house, well outfitted. Check in was easy and I liked the free ticket, I went ziplining! I go to Brevard several times per year to visit family and I'll stay in the Sugar Shack again.

The house is small and simple. It was perfect for a place to sleep between hikes. Very few frills and extras. GREAT backyard for the dog. Walking distance to downtown and breweries.

Groovy

It’s a cool little house. Everything we needed was included and easy to find, it was clean, and just nice. The location is great, we walked to downtown Brevard daily, and drove to Pisgah, DuPont, and Gorges State Park. The neighbors were friendly, and the property manager’s communications were very good, although we didn’t need any assistance during our stay. We’d stay here again.
