「My family and i enjoyed an amazing 4th of July weekend at this beautiful property. It was everything we imagined and more. The pictures do not do it justice. Only downside was the wifi but we hope they upgrade it soon as it would have made the trip prefect. 」

「I booked a short stay, spur of the moment, and Peter was very kind and accommodating. He made the whole process extremely easy. The cottage is great! It sits right on Lower Herring Lake, so I had terrific views and complete lake access. The cabin is nicely appointed and has a spacious living room, and a very comfortable, cozy bedroom. The kitchen contains everything you need for your stay and the washer and dryer on the back indoor porch is an added bonus. I will be back!」

「My group of friends stayed in the cabin for a girls weekend getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin was very clean and had all the ammenities that we needed. The owners were wonderful hosts. They checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if there were any issues. They even provided information on activities within the area and the river. Highly suggest spending time on the Betsie river, it was beautiful and relaxing, we even enjoyed the canoe.」

「Relaxation and fishing close to Manistee. My husband was thrilled about driving down a two-track (long drive way) to the cabin/house. (It was wider and mowed so not actually a two-track) Celebrating my bday! End ofJuly. Comfortable, open space(s) everywhere! I found all my comforts from home inside & outside. 「Adorable little cabin in the woods. Easy to find. We loved the industrial style inside. The welcome book with suggestions of local businesses was so helpful. The owner was great to communicate with. Even the fire pit was stocked. Will definitely stay here again. 」

「Property just as described. TV area very comfortable as where the beds. Kitchen well supplied. Outdoor grill came in handy and enjoyed the fire pit as well. The family was there for a couple of days of ATV riding. Trailhead to multiple trails and routes are right down the street. Garage came in very handy for keeping the ATV locked up at night although our safety was of no concern. Property is the forest right of M-37. Easy drive via car back into town. 「Beautiful property in a secluded spot on the river. No mosquitos! Log cabin is immaculate with all the high end comforts of home including new appliances, very comfortable beds (slept great!) and WiFi. We really enjoyed the deck that led down to the bridge across the river. New gas grill and nice fire pit area with wood provided. Gated drive. Loved how peaceful it was.」
