「The Bestie Riverside Resort is a beautiful, quiet, unique place to stay. Very clean inside and out. The pool was amazing and so was the hot tub. Not for younger kids. 」

No traffic on the short road and easy access to the river, Hodenpyl Dam, and lots of National Forest trails. Short jump to Mesick for groceries and gas was very convenient. 「A few of us friends just needed a couple days to hang out and do some snowboarding at Crystal Mountain, which is right down the road. We have stayed here several times in the past it’s always been clean and quaint. The addition of the hot tubs is a plus and it makes it more luxurious. We will be back!」

「Great location close to gas station, jerky store and fishing spots. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lot of nearby options for things to do. Enjoyed a 2 night fishing trip. Very nice cabin. Love the back porch/fire pit setup. We ended up grilling dinner every night. We were even able to watch the Michigan game at the cabin. The crystal clear night sky made for an amazing view of the stars that you can't see in the city. Awesome place, we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you!」

「This is the second time that my brother, sister in law, my wife and I have stayed at this cabin! We love that we have our own bedrooms and bathrooms! The house is cozy and just a great place to relax and enjoy each others company! We enjoy fishing and kayaking the Betsie River. We will be back in the future to our home away from home.」

「We had a short weekend getaway here and it was top notch. The hosts have thought of every detail to make the stay amazing. We stayed with our daughter (8) who is in a wheelchair and was pleased with the accessibility of the cabin. Our 4 year old loved the great selections of DVDs and games and toys. 「Comfy, quaint cottage, better than a hotel room! Was clean and just as pictured. Worked out great for ski weekend for me and my teen. Can see Crystal Mtn from property. 35 mins from Caberfae Peaks. Microwave, refrigerator and Keurig offered meal flexibility. Coffee, sugar, creamers, and disposable cups supplied. The owner, Jacob, was communicative and responsive. Some things to consider: cabin backs to M-115 so can hear road noise. Traffic at night was very minimal. Sleeping loft does not have...

「The Shed is a little gem in northern Michigan with close and easy access to Crystal Mountain, Arcadia Bluffs, and Sleeping Bear Dunes, among others. Off the beaten path but a quick drive to Bear Lake for groceries and other essentials. Perfectly cozy for my wife and me, but also would be good for a family with 1-2 kids or even two couples. 「Found this cabin last minute for memorial weekend and our family decided we had to try it out. This cabin did not disappoint! Every part of the cabin was gorgeous. we were a group of 12, 7 adults 5 kids and had plenty of space. kids loved the basement game room and the loft to play. they loved the creek and found tons of frogs turtles and other wildlife. 「We had a great stay. There were 10 of us staying in the house. We were very comfortable, everyone slept well. The kids were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a lighter to get the fireplace going but that didn’t affect our fun, only mentioning that because some people may be very disappointed if that were to happen.
