Erbalonga is the perfect base to explore Cap Corse from, and the villa is an extremely comfortable place from which to do it. Special mention to the hosts who were incredibly helpful with local recommendations, and even helped us order dinner when we checked in late in the evening! Highly recommended!"

Bear in mind that Erbalunga is a quiet seaside village/town- nightlife is restricted to restaurants. A fifteen minute drive up the coast will bring you to a marvelous, sandy beach with a low-key beach bar/restaurant. from the house, there is a great view of the isle of Elba."

"Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage an Marina die Sorbo. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gemütlich. Vor allem die Terasse ( Südseite ) bietet eine tolle Gelegenheit zu Essen und zu spielen. Der Strand ist so wie alle Strände die wir auf Korsika besucht haben sehr schön. Die Ausstattung ist super und die Einrichtung ist gemütlich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit !"

"We had a wonderful stay. Very friendly and uncomplicated hostess and warm and welcoming check-in procedure with her son. I think the description on the website that one has a mountain-view from the house falls short of the impressive and beautiful reality: from the balcony one does see the sea and we experienced incredibly colorful sunsets from that balcony as well as awe inspiring night skies over the sea and yes, the mountains."

Very good stay

"The room was not huge, but clean with a comfortable bed. Reception was polite and very easy.. The hotel looks kind of isolated when you arrive, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within 200 to 600 meters in pretty much any direction. The hotel is very nice and Bastia was a really fun place."

"It was a pleasant change to stay in a smaller hotel that had a family feel about it, as opposed to a large soul- less corporate hotel. The staff were friendly, pleasant and courteous. My room was very nicely decorated and filled out, and the en-suiute was spotlessly clean and looked as it it had been recently installed. I also had the benefit of a terrace that I could sit out in. The hotel was very convenient for walking in to Macinaggio that has numerous bars and restaurants to be enjoyed and there is a really safe swimming beach just north of marina. The area is a complete treat and comes highly recommended . Martin Cannon "
