Adequate for a short beach stay, but not great

The location of this unit is the obvious selling point - it's a very short walk to the beach and several blocks from a strip of restaurants, bars, and shops. However, there is no washer or dryer and they won't restock your towels despite being on the beach. The unit was a little dirty (chips on the floor and the couch is stained and doesn't smell good) and has a mold/mildew odor with extremely high constant humidity despite the a/c and dehumidifier running constantly. On a positive note, the two little second floor porches are nice to sit on and they provide 2 beach chairs, a beach wagon and umbrella per unit. Overall, I would not stay here again and don't recommend anything over 2 or 3 days because you'll run out of clean towels and when I asked what I should do I literally was told to take our dirty/salty/sandy towels to a laundromat myself.

Great Place, great time!

The communication from start to finish was outstanding! The home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside decks were ideal for breakfast as well as happy hour. The location was convenient to the beach, restaurants and even the bus/trolley. I would like to rent this again for next year. Thank you!Rob

Sun Deck

Enjoyed the proximity to the beach and restaurants. Great view of the Gulf and sunsets. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

GREAT LOCATION

The place is not fancy but the location is really amazing. If you are interested in a stay that is steps to the beach and are not looking for a brand new place with up to date furniture look not further. We would be back for reasonable price again. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice place

I loved this place.You could see the ocean from the front and the back decks. I didn't like the fact that there was literally nothing as far as like condiments, salt pepper.Usually those kind of things are in places.I bring it very few have not been.. And if you could use some updating there was some rust on some of the metal and there other than that we absolutely love it

I wish property management would have warned me about all the roadwork and terrible parking situation. On my last morning I was awakened by a pounding on the door of a road construction crew telling me I had to move my car over two blocks away or the car would be towed. He said property management knew about the construction weeks in advance. He didn’t even give me time to load my car so I had to carry my things over two blocks away. It was a terrible experience and could have been avoided. Their were no special instructions given regarding this issue.

Spring Break

We had a great time at this property! It was clean and well maintained. We loved having a balcony deck off the front and back of the property which allowed for beautiful views. There was excellent communication and the parking changes for construction.

Hard to beat the location

Great location, just steps from an uncrowded beach. The decks offered views of the sea and great spots to read and eat. The road nearby is busy and under construction as is a building across the street. Despite that noise (over which the owner has no control), our stay was relaxing and comfortable.

Paradise

Property was spacious, clean, bright and welcoming. Very comfortable and all amenities, exactly as promised. Property managers were helpful and thoughtful in checking on our needs, offering tips and suggestions, and making sure our experience was all it could be. It was a wonderful trip!

Before you book, ask for pictures of the home and the neighborhood

If I could submit pictures, it'd be clear why I was unhappy with the place. I took a bunch, but don't see a way to make them part of the review. The place is not being maintained, parking is very limited, blinds are mostly non-functional, needs door repairs/painting, heat didn't work, construction across the street very loud. Inside the unit, the sofa is all stained. I had to put beach towels on it so I could sit on it. Bring your own beach chairs & beach umbrella because the ones at the unit are junk. Rusty, some broken. The deck umbrella is broken. I reported this, nothing was done. The stairs leading to the unit's door are uneven and several are too short. Definitely not to current code. During our stay they decided to do a bunch of tree removal and landscaping. Maybe would have been ok except there is no place to safely park when people are removing trees. I asked to defer this until we left but that request was refused. When I pushed back, the agent at AMI Locals asked me "are you done"...I guess she didn't want my feedback and was rude about it. I've never really had complaints but I can tell ya the pictures on the website are touched up and cleverly hide the problems. Beware !!! The one positive thing I can say is the location was good for both the beach and Bridge Street.

Good place. Difficult to find entrance, not well labeled, especially at night. It would have been good to know it had so many stairs, some boards wobbly on stairs. Bathroom needs a good deep clean.

Sweetest spot in all of Florida is AMI

Wonderful property and can’t wait to come back!! We found this area in 2022 and after traveling the whole state for decades, this is our family’s all time favorite stretch! Sun Deck has great views and the greatest of convenience. Great host!

Loved are stay

Was in a great location only problem we had was the door lock was dead and couldn't get in when we first arrived. But this stay was very nice we loved the location except all the construction but will definitely stay again.

Just Walk

2nd time staying at this same place. Just a short walk to the beach and the Bridge Street shops and food. That makes this an awesome place to stay. Only downside is the shower controls needs some help and we had issues with the thermostat freezing us out.. Great place i would recommend to anyone.
