Was probably one of the best stays we’ve experienced ever! House was immaculate and had all the essentials we needed. Location was absolutely amazing and views from deck and back yard were best ever! Extra special to be in a place where there’s no ambient light visible and how bright the stars can be! Absolutely amazing on how quiet it can be from deck or back yard both during the day and night. Allows you to really enjoy the views and appreciate the outdoors! Saw lots of wildlife driving up to the house in afternoon or evenings. Recommend AWD or 4 wheel drive car or truck as house is at end of road at top of mountain. GPS may not work all the times but all you have to do is follow the house # sign up the road to top of mountain which ends at this wonderful location!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The view is absolutely breathtaking! The cabin was clean and had plenty of room for 8 of us. We enjoyed using the grill one night too. The property host was super quick at responding to messages! I can't wait to book this place again!
We used this property for overflow from a work event we hosted at Hardscrabble. Location worked well for our group.
It is Rustic and the road is a mountain road with very limited parking onsite.
Property was just like in the pictures! Property was clean and nicely stocked with all of the essentials! Host was very prompt with responding and quickly resolved a small miscalculation on my part! Would highly recommended this property, for anyone looking to get out of town for some peace and quiet!!
This super cool cabin is perched on the side of a forested mountain with a direct view of Bridger Bowl across the valley. It is absolutely incredible. Sunsets are astonishing. The home is comfortable and has everything needed to cook, eat and socialize both inside and out. One queen bed is upstairs with its own bath and there is a ladder to access a loft above with a single bed. Another queen bed is downstairs near the second bath. Another bedroom has a bunk bed and the loft above the living room has another bunk bed. For entertainment there is a smart TV with a full lineup of streaming services and a Blu-Ray player. I’m not sure if the home is available in the winter but this place could offer amazing access to skiing at Bridger Bowl just a few miles down SR86. The Fairy Lake turnoff is right up the 86 for access to summer hiking or backcountry ski touring in the spring. We even met some skiers in the parking lot who had just climbed and skied a gnarly couloir called The Great One on JULY 4th (I saw pix)! Notes: you’re at least 30 mins away from Bozeman so plan accordingly; the 6 mile road to Fairy Lake is verrrrry rough so AWD highly recommended; the only board game is Bananagrams; no DVDs so bring your own. I’ll definitely be coming back to this phenomenal cabin in the future. Many thanks to the hosts.
Amazing views, amazing property, home itself is absolutely spectacular. The addition is perfect and ample space for everyone. Definitely would love to stay here again.
Our family was so excited to have a snowy getaway but when our car got stuck on the way there, I'd thought we'd lost the booking and the chance to visit this mountain hideaway. BUT the host was so understanding and accomodating they helped us rebook, handling all the specifics themselves, meaning we still got to enjoy our holiday getaway. We are very thankful and cannot recommend them enough!
