Very safe location to rest at night. Other campers was very respectful and quiet. Easy parking and the beach around the corner. Food options is only a short drive away. Facilities is old. But all works fine. Cannot complain with the prices.

I love the location, the convenience, and the quietness of the resort and its facilities. Unfortunately, the grounds looked tired, and the bed we had was hard to sleep in. It was uncomfortable without stoppers, so it felt like we were on a ship at sea, moving around all night.

We were in a Bayview cottage. Basic inside but all needs were met for a nice beach stay. Easy 30 second walk to beach. 7-8 min drive to grocery store for supplies and town of Bowen. Property is for sale (oct2025) hopefully new owners keep it as is, very laid back and casual.

The location is perfect for family's. The cabins are cute and also great for families. The cabins are a little aged and may need a new coat of paint but still great to stay in.

The location was fantastic, right on the beach and close to a great little cafe!! Mid week and it was fully booked out for dinner before 4pm!! Had to have take away, just as good. Great service and delicious meals. The unit was clean and great outlook over the ocean. Very pleased with our stay. We will be back for a longer stay!!

The shower block was very clean,and the room was comfortable,although a suggestion would be to update the drawers and cupbords,also put rubber mats on each step,to help with wet weather. Oveall,we enjoyed our stay,and the Peacock was a bonus!!!!.
