The staff was friendly, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. Check-in required going to a completely different hotel a block away, which was inconvenient. Upon entering the lobby of the loft, there was an overwhelmingly strong and unpleasant smell of burning incense. The room itself was spacious, and the beds were comfortable, but the issues with the room made the stay far less enjoyable than expected. The light switches had to be manipulated just to get the lights to stay on, and the shower water pressure was laughable — barely more than a trickle coming from the faucets. The biggest disappointment was paying a premium price for a “city view” room, only to discover that the rolling shades were broken and could not be raised to actually enjoy the view. While the friendly staff and comfortable beds were positives, they did not make up for the maintenance issues, poor water pressure, unpleasant lobby smell, and lack of the advertised view. For the price we paid, I expected a much better experience. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone paying premium rates for this property.
