Nice cabin with great location close to Boulder, hiking, Hell’s Backbone Grill, Hell’s Backbone road, and Boulder Mountain. Our group was three adults and two teens and the space worked well for us. Great location and lots of parking. One bed was super comfy and the others a little less so, but we still slept great and enjoyed the open windows in the evening for nice cool breezes. No soap or shampoo in the shower, so bring your own. We enjoyed our stay!

“Grandpa’s Cabin” is a great spot for a family lo BFF weekend. The house is comfortable and well-stocked. We appreciated the labels in the kitchen that let guests know where to find things and put them away! We would return for sure!

Comfortable, Spacious Lodging in Utah's High Desert

Easy communication with the management company - received check-in information early and had no issue finding the property. Well-furnished with all needed kitchen utensils. Spacious lodging with plenty of towels and linens, perfect for our group of 3. Overall decently clean, though there were some areas that showed that a deep clean had not been done in a while. Only additional improvement could be to spruce up the outdoor area to make it more comfortable to enjoy the picnic table and fire ring. Would stay again!

Enjoyed the cabin in the hills near Boulder Co.

It was a great location for our family and close to Escalente. It was a little difficult to find a place to leave our garbage in the town. We received a few looks and weren’t sure where to put it . Other than that it was great.

Overall its a nice cabin. I didn't feel like it was cleaned before we arrived so the first night was hard sleeping. We arrived late in a snow storm so it was hard finding it (maps took us wrong direction). Kitchen is stocked with everything you will need. It was nice to have access to cleaning supplies so I could clean. Its a really nice property and will consider renting it again during the fall or summer. We didn't get to enjoy the peacefulness because we did a lot of hiking, but it would be a good place to stay.

Re-set nights during two weeks of camping

We booked this cabin as a re-set couple of days between two stints of camping so we could shower and do laundry. The three bedroom set up worked well with our group. The laundry set up was one very large washer (top load, no agitator) and a regular dryer. Everything worked, we did 3 loads of laundry, and had 4 people showered with no issues. We appreciated the plentiful number of towels, and the well-stocked kitchen. We do note that you should bring in your own bathroom kit—no soap provided. Three of our four expected this, but our hotel guy was caught out! We would definitely stay again. The room for the trailer to be parked made this a standout.

We loved this traditional family cabin—it was cozy, very clean and well maintained and felt secluded, even amongst the small neighborhood it was in. We stayed over thanksgiving weekend for a small Friendsgiving, cooking up a storm; I have to say that it’s the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever had in a rental! Thanks for a lovely stay and we hope to return again.
