We stayed here for a few days around a rugby world cup match, and it was a really lovely start to our trip.
The chateau is beautiful and so peaceful - perfect for when you want to retreat from the chaos! The bedrooms are spacious and so well made up, and we were provided with evaporative cooling fans in the room to help with the heatwave. As it's more remote, you will need to travel a little for lunch and dinner, but it's absolutely worth it for such a unique stay.
Most of the amenities weren’t available but the beauty of the chateau and the kindness of the caretakers more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to soak in the countryside, this is it. Serene, quiet and beautiful
If you don’t have a vehicle be sure to stop at the grocery before heading in. Breakfast is provided but you’re on your own for anything else. The shared kitchen is easy if you’re prepared.
I would absolutely recommend a stay at this peaceful chateau away from the crowds.

I would absolutely recommend a stay at this peaceful chateau away from the crowds.
I loved the castle and the vinyard grounds which are walkable and beautiful. We walked the grounds each day and it was so peaceful and tranquil. The inside is just as amazing with the rooms decorated and very spacious.
A beautifully restored facility located among miles of vineyards, not far from Bordeau. The hotelier was most helpful and even helped porter bags despite his advanced years. Comfortable room. Ask him for his local referral to an excellent restaurant for dinner, run by a charming young woman. A delightful experience. Would stay there again.
Wonderful chateau castle to spend a few nights in. The room was spacious, light and exceptionally clean. Very large bathroom with lots of complementary toiletries to use. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the gardens and vineyards just beautiful. The host was very nice and knowledgeable about the area and informed us about his vineyard. We bought some of his wine to drink at home. We stayed with our 4 year old and a comfortable bed was added to the room.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
