Lage/Umgebung: Zentrale Lage in Bajo Boquete. Direkt an der Hauptstraße. Restaurants, Café und Aktivitäten bequem zu Fuß und via Uber zu erreichen. Unterkunft/Zimmer: Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Straße, jedoch hört man auf dem Zimmer, welches sich im Garten befindet, nichts. Das Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten, jedoch eher schlicht eingerichtet und etwas dunkel. Der Balkon mit Sitzmöglichkeit bietet einen schönen Blick auf den Garten und die umliegenden Berge. Die Außenanlage ist ansprechend gestaltet und schafft ein angenehmes Ambiente – besonders die Hollywoodschaukel direkt am Fluss lädt zum Entspannen ein. Frühstück & Abendessen: Beides wird vor Ort angeboten und war insgesamt in Ordnung. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die kostenlose Wasserstation mit gefiltertem Trinkwasser sowie der morgendliche Gratis-Kaffee von einem lokalen Anbieter. Personal & Aktivitäten: Der Service war gut. Verschiedene Aktivitäten können direkt in der Unterkunft gebucht und gestartet werden.

Although the facilities are acceptable, my overall experience was mixed. While the rest of the staff was very nice, helpful, and accommodating, we had a major issue with one specific female staff member. Upon arrival, she was quite rude and flatly refused to answer basic questions about our reservation, stating that she would not assist us until 3:00 PM. When we returned at that time and expressed our frustration regarding her treatment to another staff member, she finally apologized; however, it left a very unpleasant feeling due to the noticeable difference in the way she treated tourists compared to national guests. It is disappointing to encounter that kind of attitude from one individual, as it overshadowed the positive service provided by the rest of the team."

The property's the location in Boquete is good, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Getting to the rooms is quite complicated. You have to walk across small bridges and stone paths, which is not very convenient when carrying luggage. The check-in and front desk are located at the hotel bar, so during a busy weekend it can feel chaotic and confusing. Between unloading our luggage, trying to find the front desk, and finally locating the room, more than an hour passed before we were even able to see the room. The biggest issue was the room itself. Our room (303) did not have air conditioning and had extremely limited ventilation. The room was very enclosed, hot, and humid, and because of the lack of airflow it was impossible for us to stay there overnight. Unfortunately, after spending that time trying to get settled, we had no choice but to leave and find another place to sleep late at night, which was very stressful since Boquete was completely full that weekend due to events in town. Another important point is that the Expedia listing does not clearly mention the lack of air conditioning or explain the ventilation situation, making it difficult for guests to anticipate these conditions before booking. We shared our recommendation with the hotel to add clearer information online and consider installing air conditioning in some rooms. The hostel is good for a quick stop in the city! Comfortable bed. I don't recommend the room I stayed in, as it's small, the floor is uneven and it's like a "barrel". I thought it would be bigger and more comfortable, but it wasn't. Perhaps "conventional" rooms are better. I only stayed one night, woke up in the middle of the night for a walk, and when I returned I saw that I had killed a spider when closing the door; it would have been inside the room and would have been a danger. The staff accepts luggage before check-in or after check-out and leaves it in a small locked storage room. There are no power outlets in the common area; for those arriving before check-in or wanting to charge devices while having breakfast or eating something, power outlets would be helpful. The idea of ​​a shared breakfast, a family lunch (I didn't try either), and free water and coffee is excellent. The reception staff is very helpful and pleasant; thank you for all the information and support. Júlio was incredible and very helpful with information. The location is good, close to the city center and easy to get around.

Schöne Anlage in guter Lage in Boquete

Wir haben eine Nacht in einem „Zylinder“ verbracht. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Man muss jedoch bedenken, dass der Platz sehr knapp ist - was für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung ist. Die geteilten WCs und Duschen waren zum Teil etwas kaputt.
