「Great stay, great host」

「It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient place to use as a base for visiting New River Gorge, this worked well for us. Clean, good communication with owner. 15 minute drive to the bridge, restaurants, gas, etc.」

「This was a clean, comfortable, and affordable property in a beautiful part of West Virginia. The host was very responsive and helpful. Small amenities like coffee and some snacks were thoughtfully included and much appreciated after a long day hiking.」

「As advertised. Clean and convenient to New River Gorge activities. Parking was easy. We would definitely stay there again. However, if stairs are a problem then it might not work for you. Communication was easy and timely.」

「I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay...

「Quite community located next to the white water companies and the gorge bridge. Perfect weekend getaway」

「Everything is great」

「Super cute recently renovated home. Well equipped for a comfortable stay. We loved it !」

「Enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located close to everything!」

「Awesome house in the heart of town. Great spot for me to set as my home base to explore all the areas of New River Gorge. Would for sure recommend. Walkable to local spots for coffee or lunch/dinner. Hosts instructions were very clear. 10/10」

「We didn't receive any check in information. I messaged the host the day of our stay and requested it. Upon arrival the entire house smelled strongly of mildew. It was incredibly pungent. When I pulled out the sofa bed for our son, it was covered in dead insects. The home did not appear clean.」

「This property is beautiful! Definitely large enough space for nine adults. The hot tub was a requirement for our group and did not disappoint. The only complaint would be having no cell service or strong enough wifi when needed. Thank you so much for having us!! - The Gueltig Crew」

「This property was everything! Perfect location with multiple restaurants within walking distance. Great outdoor relaxing areas. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms made it super comfortable for our party of 6. Great communication with host for an easy check in and out! Everything we needed and more for a great weekend. We will be back!」

「The house layout was excellent and the pictures really do show the interior space correctly. The neighbors are close but it's a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub and the sauna was an unexpected bonus! If there is a downside to list it would be the grill. We were aware it was charcoal but it was a little small and difficult to cook on but we are also not charcoal masters.」
