"we stayed at this location because it was new and close by. The room we got was in poor shape out of three lamps one worked and one had no bulb and the other was shorting out. When we used the roll in shower the drain was so slow it flooded the bathroom so i used all of our towels to dry it up and more. the chrome shower bars had a lot of rust on them . When i called to see if they had my reservation they could not find it but it showed up later on they were going to charge me for my support dog for my PTSD and i told them i will provide the paper work he said i will still charge you. i told them that this is our 44th wedding anniversary and if this is the way this hotel runs we will not stay there"

"My brother was in room 304 handicap room , with his wife, no place in the bathroom to plug in the hair blower. I was in 303, put awake up call for 5 am. No phone call, thank god I set my phone. Breakfast was ok, but the sausage was so burnt it was had to cut it with a knife."

"It was a place to sleep. Air-conditioner worked great. People begging outside, had to walk past people setting on stairs smoking every time we walked down the stairs. Requested a non smoking room, the room I received smelled heavily of cigarettes. The floors were VERY dirty and haven’t been mopped in God knows how long so bring house shoes. Every towel we got had some black stains on them and the beds hurt my back. Like I stated it’s a place to sleep for cheap but you pay for cheap either way."

"Our stay didn’t start out the greatest due to the gentleman working the front desk acting like we were bothering him by checking in. He was quick to get us checked in but was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed. The room felt clean for the most part, the linens were clean and bathroom was also. But staff need to pay greater attention to detail. The walls are stained, bed sheets very sloppily made, some small pieces of trash not picked up, and the throw pillows not arranged but just laid on the couch. Breakfast was good, very nice and clean breakfast room with lots of options of food and drink. The bar area in the seating area had a terrible roof leak so the constant dripping noise and view of sopping wet towels was a bit off putting. Overall we slept well and had our general needs met but failed to see the reason this place is rated as “excellent”."
