「The lodge rooms are superbly quiet with absolutely no road noise although friends staying in the main hotel were disturbed by traffic noise. Lodges are freshly decorated with great bathrooms and excellent daily housekeeping
The continental breakfast had a good selection of fruit and yoghurt. The hot food was cooked to order which I much prefer to buffets. The full Welsh breakfast was quite a meagre portion with poor quality sausage, although the other choices such as poached eggs on brioche...

「This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago.
It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful.
Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose.
In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant.
Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment
I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again.」
