"Rosanna and Giachino could not have been more perfect hosts. They were extremely friendly and very helpful. The villa was beyond beautiful. The website pictures did not do it justice. "

"This property gave us and a fellow family lots of space to enjoy the Sicilian sun. The pool was great as was the view towards the surrounding hills and the sea. It was nice to experience a somewhat cooler climate than down the sea. On the downside, it took us half an hour to drive up and down the hill to get fresh bread in the morning. The property is somewhat run-down with the odd gadget not working. The owner tried to fix everything though. This is not a luxury property but I would recommend...

"Pros: From the moment we arrived down an unmarked road, through the electric gates and up the dirt track driveway surrounded by oak trees, we knew this place was special. The one bedroom house was large enough for the two of us and our daughter who slept on the sofa bed, and full of rustic charm. "Beautiful setting, quiet and luxurious. Food was amazing. We had the Chef’s special menu for 50 Euro as it was so good. We had to leave early in the morning due to a train strike but they provided breakfast before we left which was nice of them. We were travelling by train and it was quite expensive for a taxi from Cefalu but worth the trip. Great view from pool. Would recommend and would be nice for a special occasion."

However the breakfast and restaurant options could be improved, including more variety of the menu (compared to what is advertised on their webpage).
