The apartment is located on the 3rd floor with lift in a building in a quiet private garden, from the balcony you can enjoy a suggestive view of the red roofs of Bologna. The apartment (55 m2) consists of an entrance hall, fully equipped kitchen, brand new bathroom with large shower and washing machine, 2 bedrooms (one double and one with two armchairs/beds that can be transformed into single beds as shown in the photo).

You are in the heart of "Pratello", one of the liveliest neighborhoods in the historic centre, full of clubs and activities, in the evening it is a meeting place and it is very pleasant to stop for an aperitif or even to taste the gastronomic specialities.
Piazza Maggiore, San Petronio, San Pietro, Nettuno can be reached on foot by walking under the characteristic porticoes (Unesco heritage).
In the surrounding area you will find a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, practically everything that makes your stay pleasant.

We are also a strategic point to reach some important cities of art, in about h. 1-1.30 by train you can visit Venice, Florence, Ravenna and Parma and Ferrara, you can organize visits to these cities without changing location and to make your stay as comfortable as possible you also have a washing machine at your complete disposal.

We live in the adjacent apartment and with my husband we personally welcome guests, providing all the tourist and gastronomic information, curiosities or anything else that may be necessary.
Cleaning and sanitization is personally handled.

Our six-week stay at Casa nel Paradiso in Bologna was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Stefano and Elena made us feel completely at home with their warm, thoughtful hospitality. They were attentive, kind, and always available if we needed anything — truly the kind of hosts who make a stay memorable.The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, making it easy to settle in for an extended visit. It’s clear that great care goes into maintaining the space, and we appreciated how welcoming and well-prepared everything felt upon arrival.The location is also ideal. Casa nel Paradiso is just a 10-minute walk to Piazza Maggiore, placing you right in the heart of Bologna’s historic center, and about 15 minutes on foot to the train station — perfect for exploring the city and taking day trips throughout the region.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Stefano and Elena couldn’t have been nicer, and we wholeheartedly recommend Casa nel Paradiso to anyone planning a stay in Bologna.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of advice and suggestions, which we used and enjoyed. Stefano and Elena went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable, but they were never intrusive. We loved being in a authentic part of Bologna and felt like locals. We stayed for 13 nights and used Bologna as a base to visit Venice, Modena, Parma and Ravenna. The balcony was a lovely extra and we often had a coffee or a wine while looking at the roof tops.

Beautiful Bologna! This apartment was perfect for our family of 4 with its cozy beds that had immaculate linens, AC, washer, full kitchen and a balcony that offered a window to the historical center. A Haven in the Center of it All

My family stayed here for three days in the middle of a ten day Italy trip. Elena and Stefano made us feel right at home. All the restaurant recommendations were on point. The ideas of things to visit, as well! We loved the fact that there was A/C and a laundry machine, as we chose to do this trip with only carry on luggage due to the train travel we were doing. The apartment is clean and comfortable. There was even espresso. I would highly recommend making this your base for a Bologna stay.

Bologna Hospitality at its Best!

We had an incredible time in Bologna. Stefano and Elena were the best hosts imaginable. They offered us restaurant suggestions, helped book reservations, got us a parking spot, and so many other things. They truly made the stay special.The apartment itself is in a great location, with tons of shops and restaurants right nearby. Both the train station and the main piazza are about a 15 minute walk, making it a great place to call home base. We loved our stay, and are glad we got to experience Bologna hospitality!

Wonderful Place

Fantastic Apartment in Paradise, Just as Advertised

We had a wonderful 7-night stay over the holidays, We selected Casa nel Paradiso based on the stellar VRBO reviews and the location and it was an absolute delight. Elena and Stefano are incredibly gracious and helpful hosts, going to far as to set up a Christmas tree that I had requested. The apartment is clean, well-appointed, and quiet, and in a wonderful neighborhood minutes away from the Piazza Maggiore - but the best meal we had during our stay, by far, is just around the corner at Trattoria da Me (there are two locations, we went to the one on Via San Felice, 50a. Their pasta shop is right next door and we brought some back to cook up and enjoy in the apartment. If we could give this rental more than 5 stars, we would!

The property is very clean amd well maintained by attentive hosts who live next door. It is on the third floor and gets wonderful sunlight. There is an elevator in the building but it is small, so larger individuals should be advised that they might need to take the stairs

Perfect Location and Delightful Hosts

If you want a quiet place in the historic center of Bologna you can’t do better. Stefano and Elena are always ready to help you, and the apartment is nicely updated. We spent many a morning out on the balcony which overlooks a quiet courtyard. You are minutes from Bologna’s central market and piazza, and many cafes and restaurants are even closer.

Wonderful property and fantastic hosts

Path to property has nice plantings that were blooming. We were greeted by hosts as soon as taxi arrived, showed where things were, and given lots of tourist information. They could not have been any more friendly and helpful. They live across the hall on the same floor and were always available for our questions. Kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony is another plus. Highly recommend this property. You will love the hosts.

Excellent hosts, spotless and comfortable apartment

The apartment appears to be recently renovated. It is in excellent condition, everything works, and it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Even so, the kindness of the hosts made our stay great. They greeted us enthusiastically, and provided a map and excellent introduction to Bologna. A great deal of information about Bologna is provided, and it was very welcome. This is a place where we would stay again. The apartment is on the 3d floor. There is a small lift so we didnt need to carry luggage up the stairs.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

This was one of the best properties we have stayed in and made extra special by the warm welcome from Stefano and Elena who were very knowledgable about Bologna having lived in the city all their lives. They gave us excellent recommendations on places to visit and eat during our five night stay. All the main sights are within a 10-15 minute walk and the train station is a 15-20 minute walk where you can get trains easily to lovely places like Ravenna and Ferrara. The apartment is a little oasis in a busy area and all you can hear from the balcony is the sounds of the birds - very peaceful after a long day sightseeing. Plenty of places to eat out in a few minutes walk and an excellent PAM supermarket within a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to returning soon. Great stay and would stay again

It’s the perfect vrbo- in a great neighborhood but still quiet and private. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. The living room has 2 twin size pull out couches, plus a bedroom with a queen bed. Elena and Stefano are great hosts- they gave us a ton of info on their city and checked in on us. They live next door so if there was ever an issue they were there to help- not that there was.
