"Eda could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Her attention to detail and facilities are second to none. The setting is incredibly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Ideal base for cycling or walking and not too far from all of the amazing sights, history and culture that Istria has to offer. "Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen en alles werd duidelijk uitgelegd, martina had gezorgd voor een volle koelkast met lekkere dingen. Het huisje ligt vol met schoonmaakmiddelen, wasmiddel, wc&keuken papier, voldoende handdoeken. Uitzicht is echt prachtig. Het zwembad wordt 1keer in de week schoongemaakt . Communicatie gaat via whatsapp ideaal. Wij hebben genoten van de plek."

"The villa was very comfortable and modern. It’s location was perfect, close enough to the towns to make it easy to explore but far enough out to be quiet and relaxing. "The Villa Maria is amazing, we had a thoroughly relaxing time. The pool was very well used by us all but especially my 2 children, the Villa has everything you need for a stress free holiday. You definitely need a car as it is so remote but in our opinion this added to the charm. The owners Valmi and Andreja were fantastic throughout. I would highly recommend the Villa Maria, my youngest is 9 and she loved it. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Valmi and Andreja."

"Peaceful and beautiful part of Istria which we were new to. We took several trips both inland and on the coast, spoilt for choice with easy to reach wonderful destinations. The house was charming and characterful, very easy to relax in and the pool was great to cool off and fun for the kids. Branimir was a friendly and helpful host. "We had a fantastic time at Villa Sterna. The Villa was just as advertised and in a beautiful spot. The Villa was very spacious and the swimming pool and outside area was fab. All very clean and well kept. Thank you for a lovely stay and thank you for my birthday watermelon. We also highly recommend the quad bike tour to the waterfall and lagoon. Thank you!"

"Die Gastgeberin ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie antwortet schnell wenn man fragen hat oder etwas benötigt. Der Garten war für unseren Hund ein kleines Paradies, die Kids liebten den Pool. Ein paar mehr Spielsachen für die kleinen könnten vorhanden sein, evtl. ein paar Spielgeräte im Garten. "My wife and I travel often and we have never received a more warm and hospitable welcome than from Neva and her husband. The house is amazing, built in the 1500’s and nicely updated. The location is convenient to explore the area and in a small cute town high on a hill. We made new friends during our visit and it was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend if you are looking for a central home base for a few days and would like to meet some wonderful people."
