"Love the walkable location in relation to 798 Art District and nearby restaurants. Great for this area of Beijing but far from anything a first time visitor might want to see. Also super convenient for getting to and from the airport via taxi. "
"It’s really nice place to stay, the host upgrades our room into a loft unit, 3 king beds with 5pc bathroom upstairs and 2pc downstairs. And they supply all the amenities. It’s really convenient place with a lot of restaurants downstairs. Close to subway station. We will book there again if we go back to Beijing!"
"Staff Li Li was very helpful and did her best to explain and suggest visit.
Turn left from the apartment will find shopping and restaurant, turn right walk further a bit will find the local lifestyle. Opposite got a 24 hours BBQ restaurant.
Metro station just beside."
"The Sandalwood has become my home away from home while I’m in Beijing. It’s a great property conveniently located near major freeway while being very quiet in the evenings. The staff here is always ready to handle anything that you need taken care of. You won’t regret staying here."

"The hotel is beautiful, and we booked a room with Executive Lounge access. While the property looks luxurious, the overall experience didn’t quite meet the standards I expect from an international luxury hotel.
The staff were polite but not particularly warm or welcoming compared to other luxury hotels. The gym is fairly basic, and the swimming pool gets very crowded. Despite the high number of guests, there are only three shower rooms, which feels inadequate for the facility’s capacity.
I was also disappointed that the lobby bar only allows guests to sit if they purchase something. Another letdown was that the beautiful lobby piano is off-limits to guests, even for experienced pianists.
Overall, the hotel has the appearance of an international luxury property, but the service culture and guest experience feel more local than international."
"Nice enough hotel, felt very local which was a nice change as I usually stay at American chains. Wifi was spotty, but that might be due to my American phone. Nice location."
