"Room overall was ok, view was lovely with a glorious sunrise every morning. There were issues with some areas though. The black out lining on the curtains had large areas that were warn, so sunlight always streamed through. There was damage to the laminated surface below the room fridge, which was quite extensive. The handle for the shower control came off in your hand. Breakfast was tricky, I have a chocolate allergy and don’t eat cooked breakfasts/ processed meats. There were only 2 cereal options and all the pastries were mixed in together so chocolate was the main option whether croissants, muffins etc and as they were all touching each other, I struggled to find something to eat, even the yoghurts were mainly chocolate flavoured. The fruit was boring and unappealing, banana, apple or orange. The pancakes had been pre-made on the first morning but the dining room lady kindly went and warmed them up. She also put a couple of pistachio croissants on one side for the second morning, but no such luck for our 3rd day. Great beach location, including early morning swims with the fish in the bay. The restaurants nearby were uninspiring unless you want pizza, pasta or burgers every night, we had to travel for decent evening meals. Final word of warning if you’re staying there on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night, they have bingo on directly outside the hotel front, via a very loud microphone and speakers and it goes on until 11pm, not good for early flights home."

"I stayed here with my sister and found it easy to get to places from the nearby bus stops. The family were very welcoming, and happy to sit and chat or give ideas on places to visit. The pool was perfect as we just wanted a peaceful holiday and this is what we got. We explored as much of the main areas as possible in the time that we had. The Blue Lagoon was the only thing we booked up. Get the bus cards as we really got our monies worth in the 6 days."

Also, the property is grand and elegant although you can tell it is an older property, which is why we were so happy to have a room that been recently renovated and was is in pristine condition. "This is an excellent little hotel, that’s uniquely brought to life by its owners. As it’s small, the owners and their staff are way more attentive than would be possible in a large hotel, including giving tips on things to do and where to go to us Malta first timers. Zebbug itself is a small village, but bars and restaurants are a short walk away. Though the streets around the hotel are tight and the bolt/uber drivers we used occasionally struggled to find us. That said, the area is centrally located and a great base to visit places like Rabat, Mdina, Blue Grotto and Valletta (once we were more confident in directing the taxi drivers) . Highly recommended if you want somewhere with personality and hosts who genuinely care."
