"I very much loved this beautiful place! It's situated in a neighborhood that looks completely like what I expected Iceland to look like. The staff there were all very, very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. And the water view allowed me a most beautiful view of the sunset, so peaceful and restful! I'd stay here again the next time I visit. Thanks to all the staff for making me feel so at home."

"karuna Guesthouse was one of our favorite properties. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room. They room was SPOTLESS and large with a tea kettle, tv, full bathroom and hairdryer!! "This is a sweet quirky little chalet style hotel. It was built in 1833 ish and has some cool historical photos on the walls. It was fun to stay here for a night here after staying in more typical boutique hotels the rest of our trip. The receptionist was friendly and helped us find a place to eat near by when we arrived late, that we walked to. Breakfast was served in a tavern type space and was also wonderful.
