Reasonable stay but missing a few things

The hotel is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and the rooms were large and airy. It would be a great hotel were it not for a few thing. Firstly, the hard floors in the room just make noise travel downstairs. We were woken up on both nights by the room above walking around after midnight. Carpeting or rugs would be better. The hotel is advertised as having parking but it doesn't, there's paying on street parking or you have to take your chances in side streets. Very disappointed by this. The reception hours are very limited, seems 8am till 6pm on weekdays and nobody was there are at 8.45am on Saturday morning. This is pretty poor if you have a basic query. Finally, the towels were tatty with holes in and the lighting of the bathroom was dark and hard to work out. Could be a great hotel, just needs some tweaks and more thought given to things.

Our second time at Bleecker. Just as great as the last time. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Bike rentals are just great there. They really try to make everything easy for your stay.

Comfortable, spacious, and calm

It's a gorgeous little hotel, in a very quiet area but with a bar just metres down the road and a parade of cute little shops nearby. The local station which can take you to Haarlem or Amsterdam is easy walking distance too. The room was very spacious with a kitchenette including sink, microwave, coffee pod machine, and kettle; wine glasses, and mugs. Bathroom was lovely with giant bath, rainfall shower, large sink. And the beds were very comfortable. There didn't seem to be any temperature controls in the room but it was the perfect temperature for us anyway. The whole hotel is very stylish and the staff we talked to were lovely. Only negatives: Noise travelled quite easily from the corridor (we were woken up by other travellers). The bathroom door handle was difficult to grip (annoying as it was a sliding door). And soap and shampoo was provided but no conditioner (this is the bane of my travelling life). Note that bike rental is not free ;)

Top hotel! Service heel goed, we konden niet inchecken rond de normale tijd. Was geen probleem, kregen de kamerpasjes al mee. Ik vertelde dat we er waren ivm verrassingsdag voor mijn man. Toen we op hotelkamer kwamen was deze in thema liefde versierd. Wauw net dat extra wat een hotel kan doen. Dus aanrader! Brasserie Bleecker, relaxt sfeertje en kregen we meteen tips wat te doen in de buurt.

Rekommenderas varmt!

Fantastiskt bra, uppdelat på två olika hotel så att säga, men det var bara 2 minuters promenad däremellan. Receptionen endast öppen fram till 18, men hade aldrig några problem under min vistelse där. Fantastiskt fint område att bo i och nära till både tågstation och restauranger osv. Ska jag tillbaka till Bloemendaal så är detta det givna valet av boende :-)

Fantastisch hotel

Het hotel is zeer aangenaam, ruime kamers en de voorzieningen zijn uitstekend. De omgeving is uitmuntend. Enige verbeterpunten zijn dat gebruiksmiddelen voor het keukenblok ontbreken en de moeilijke (trage) manier van verwarmen/koelen van de kamer (milieuvriendelijk kennelijk). Wat opvalt is de rust en de boslucht! Het ontbijt is werkelijk super geregeld door een echte gastheer. Een echte aanrader.

It was a great hotel with excellent staff in a residential neighborhood, west of Haarlem. I think it's a perfect place for a quiet getaway or visiting friends and relatives. The location is probably not perfect for a tourist visit to Haarlem center - but I want to mention again that the staff was wonderful and accommodating.

Wat plussen en kleine minnetjes.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving. Goede fietsen met 5 versnellingen. Kamer was aan de kleine kant met half open badkamer met toilet wat enig ongemak gaf. Zeer hulpvaardig personeel, ontbijt aan de dure kant voor het gebodene en wat onprofessionele maar vriendelijke bediening.
