「Friendly staff!」

「Absolutely everything! What a great find this establishment is. If we return to Pitlochry we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The facilities are top notch, lovely, clean and quiet room (7) in the Courtyard, huge and very comfortable bed and a very spacious and spotless bathroom. Breakfast was nothing short of exceptional! , so many choices on the menu and all breakfasts cooked fresh to order using local, fresh produce. Portions were very generous, hot and very well presented, and definitely set you...

「Clean room, lovely decor. Little touches that made it all that more cozy and welcoming. Decorative wallpaper, throw blanket and pillows that matches the room decor. Just lovely. Bed wasn’t super hard which I loved. Book beds are usually miserably hard and this was nicer would have loved memory foam even more, but they did have one in a room it was just booked. Lovely hosts. Alyx was great, as was Derrick, Gary and everyone at the hotel. Would def return! 」

The breakfast is outstanding! And the lounge is as comfy as your room, decorated with love in every detail. A very pleasent stay!」

「Dean and Paul are wonderful hosts and made our stay at the Birchwood extremely comfortable. They also helped us navigate our upcoming trip through inclement weather. The hotel itself is lovely and very thoughtfully constructed. Will definitely stay here next time in Pitlochry. 」

「We only has an overnight stay including dinner. A very comfortable and well located hotel. A short downhill walk to the centre of Pitlochry which was buzzing. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hydro was well worth a visit, and demonstrates how we should all manage green energy. The fish ladder at the hydro was fascinating.」

「Balnearn House is a lovely B&B in a small village. The rooms are comfortable and there was a nice garden area. There were a couple of nice restaurants & pubs within walking distance. The owners are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.」
