「My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. 「My husband and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary here and couldn’t have been happier. This is a beautifully restored and updated stone cottage in a truly stunning setting, on a lovely farm with views of the sea and the hills. 「Host was exceptional, have never been to a property where everything has been so carefully thought out and planned for. Beautiful property 10m away from the cove where we were able to play with all our toys …. Fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and spear fishing. 「A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.」

「The location was great. It had everything we needed. It was just outdated and as not used often could do with a good spring clean. Great size rooms, and sauna and Jacuzzi bath. Overall a wonderfully peaceful property. Our first trip with our dog and she loved the freedom and the woods for walks. 」
