"Room was great, facilities and pool and spa area well run and enjoyable. Bar and grill was good, however service at the bar could be improved if customers were told to stop queuing like it's still covid times. Recommended "

"We paid extra for a view room. The view was the best thing about our room. The room was very stuffy on arrival. Had to put on the fan straight away. The room looked verdy tired, chipped pain, stains on the curtains. I always strip our beds when we stay away, when i stripped the beds the duvet was heavily stain & the mattress was badly stain aswell. The only thing that was ok was the matress topper. The cleanliness really should be looked at. I came away feeling dirty, im positive i came away with marks from bedmites! This is a shocking standard for a hotel chain Hilton! The ceiling yo floor windows would have been lovely but the just looked dirty, i inderstand this is probably from the sea spray, but made the entrance look very dirty. Staff were pleasent. Breakfast was ok but not that impressed at all. Would not reccomend."

"The hotel needs extensive updating. Yes probably 100 years ago it was exclusive and upmarket. And yes the Queen and many famous people stayed, But they wouldn’t step foot inside now as it’s so run down. If the hotel had a refurb it would be amazing but unfortunately it’s very dated. The room was like going back in time 50 years ago everything including furniture and TV was so old. It’s not cheap to stay either we could have stayed at Hampton Hilton for cheaper. However on the positive side Breakfast was very nice. Was disappointed had to pay £14 to park vehicle in the hotel car park overnight also."

"On arrival we was greated by a very friendly gentleman, who explained where our room was and said we have a sea view, bare in mind i booked a family room for 5! We was given a family room for 4 so we had to share a bed. Now the "family" room was on the third floor. Lift to the 2nd floor then stairs the rest of the way, thankfully we didnt have a baby with us as god help them stairs with a pram. Now the room looked okay ish, bathroom with shower and toilet, mis matched curtains and rusty curtain poles, the beds.. well if you like to scratch all night from bed bugs your in the right place, hard uncomfy mattress and one very thin pillow. As you can imagine zero sleep.. then down for breakfast in the morning at half 8, not a cooked breakfast as we assumed, but a continental breakfast in the same room as a huge pile of laundry and a shopping trolly. Lovely, lets not forget the argument between a member off staff and another paying customer over the hotel not having any hot dogs, then a comment to myself about the customer from the member of staff that was arguing,i wont repeat but lets just say it wasnt the most pleasant and quite a racist remark. Will NOT be coming back, do NOT recommend "

"Hotel were only ok waiting time for dinner was a joke as only one waiter and supervisor were allowed serve dinner even though there qere some lovely young waitress and waiters food dinner only ok there was a grey supervisor and he was not nice to one lovely waitress i frlt so sorry for her fir the price of the hotel iv stayed in better bed and breakfast hotels i wont be returning "
