「We absolutely loved our stay here. Linda and Tony have a rare gem of a place with The Scarla. Linda has personally styled the place with a unique blend of art deco vs modern and it works superbly. We could not fault any part of our stay, from the gorgeous room, comfy bed, tasty food but most important, what truly makes The Scarla a true gem, is Tony and Linda. They are the most welcoming, friendliest couple. You can see how much they enjoy meeting their guest, chatting with everyone at breakfast...

「Really pleased we booked this hotel. Room with 2 double beds was lovely for 2 11year old girls and 1 adult. Room was spotless and clean throughout the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, at check in, breakfasts and check out. Complimentary breakfast in the booking price was excellent, plenty of choice. Location was a good 10-15 minute walk to the South Pier, which we didn’t mind. 」

「Fabulous three nights spent at this gem of a guest house. Steve and Elaine were perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice, room and bathroom were as good as they could be. Comfortable bed and powerful shower (always a must in my book) were spot on. Parking available for a decent price. The Arthington is a winner in Blackpool and fully deserves all its plaudits.」

「Excellent communications before we arrived. We were a family of 5, nice small touches; fresh fruit, milk, coffee etc. Rooms were clean, tidy and modern. Parking also a bonus. Really recommend.」

「Nice and warm room for the night, a little small but that was for the cheapest room so only to be expected. And I'm a giant, if you're normal sized you'll be fine :-) Always nice to visit a proper hotel with reception, bar / restaurant staff etc rather than some converted terrace. Top brekky too.」

「Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the room was beautiful, a travel cot was provided for my baby and my bed was very comfortable, one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. The hosts were so attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very family friendly! I will definitely be back and would 100% recommend to anyone 👌」

「We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. The room was spotlessly clean, warm, and incredibly comfortable — we felt at home straight away. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around, and the owner was very attentive and welcomin. The only difficulty for us was that food isn’t permitted in the rooms, which unfortunately wasn’t stated on the booking site when we made our reservation. As our son has special dietary requirements, this made things a little challenging...

「This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a car park at the rear and 3 parking spots at the front. It is very secure with a personal PIN provided before book in for the doors. Very clean and smart. Big comfy bed in room 6 anyway. Nice little kitchenette. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine. Lovely shower. If I had to pick fault it would be the awful washing up liquid. It must be watered down, it does very little indeed! The flat is near to all restaurants and a Whetherspoons. Lots of coffee bars. The...

「What can I say,. The hosts were absolutely amazing from check in to check out. They couldn't do enough for you. The hotel itself is undergoing some major refurbishment which did not impact our stay in disturbance. The only impact was no bar was available but they had a solution (you can use the bar in the next door property) the rooms were clean, habitable and comfortable. Even though ours was a very small room (advertised for 3) but it could just fit 1 double and our newborn. We were lucky...

「Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.」
