「Great room, food, location and staff」

「We absolutely loved our stay here. Linda and Tony have a rare gem of a place with The Scarla. Linda has personally styled the place with a unique blend of art deco vs modern and it works superbly. We could not fault any part of our stay, from the gorgeous room, comfy bed, tasty food but most important, what truly makes The Scarla a true gem, is Tony and Linda. They are the most welcoming, friendliest couple. You can see how much they enjoy meeting their guest, chatting with everyone at breakfast...

「What a hidden gem, lovely cosy hotel, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds, great breakfast - all topped off with a lovely welcome and excellent value. We would stay here again without hesitation.」

「The hotel was really lovely compared to others in the area. We walked to the tower from our hotel it took 40 mins. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We could see the sea from our room, the pleasure park backed on to the back of the hotel it was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely for £19 per person I would recommend this hotel for your stay. The tram is across the main road to the left To get to the tower they only take card payment.」

「Excellent communications before we arrived. We were a family of 5, nice small touches; fresh fruit, milk, coffee etc. Rooms were clean, tidy and modern. Parking also a bonus. Really recommend.」

「Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.」

「Check-in was very simple, the property very clean and the host very helpful over the phone. We arrived late in the evening and it was so wonderful to arrive to the suite with the pullout bed made up already and a beautiful bottle of Prosecco and two glasses set out. We felt so very welcomed. A great location and a classy set up. 」

「What can I say,. The hosts were absolutely amazing from check in to check out. They couldn't do enough for you. The hotel itself is undergoing some major refurbishment which did not impact our stay in disturbance. The only impact was no bar was available but they had a solution (you can use the bar in the next door property) the rooms were clean, habitable and comfortable. Even though ours was a very small room (advertised for 3) but it could just fit 1 double and our newborn. We were lucky...

「A quiet, lovely apartment with everything you will need for your stay. A friendly warden that lives on site, if you need anything. Close to all Blackpool has to offer. 」

「Great location Jackie was there when we arrived to let us in and was friendly and helpful. Parking on street was full but plenty of carparks near by. Room clean and comfortable. Only feedback would be that check in info wasn't completly clear as it says to contact the propery ahead of the stay to get check in details and the number on hotels.com was a landline (i got mobile number from the website and was able to speak to Jackie who said she would be there to let us in so no issues just...

「This hotel is absolutely amazing, especially if you have kids. I stayed there around 15 years ago, before I had my own and thought it was awesome but having been back recently, it’s even better than I’d remembered. They seem to manage to keep the place looking pristine, despite all the kids who visit 😂. It’s modern, comfortable and very clean in all communal areas and the rooms are just as lovely. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed two nights...
