Room didn’t look like it was hoovered. Tv in room wouldn’t work. Shower stopped working and hot tap in room didn’t work. Other than that for the price we payed it was good and I would recommend if you’re on a tight budget.
The communal shower was filthy, there was black mould on the walls, the beds were broken and very uncomfortable, the “staff” didn’t seam to be bothered that we were there and only saw him for check in and that was it. Had to call him when we got there to check in and finally it is in a very dodgy and run down area of Blackpool, definitely would not recommend staying there is you are a single woman staying by yourself.
Room looked like a cr*ck den, bathroom is shared and doesn’t even lock so anyone can walk in while you are showering no towels and bed sheets was minging with brown stuff on, told staff they didn’t do nothing
The one positive was the lady who checked us in from over the road was pleasant. She did say that her booking system was down and she didn't have any of our booking details but she done her best to check us in and provide us with clean towels and ensured the bedding was clean. Unfortunately that was where the cleanliness stopped. This area of Blackpool is in very poor condition but with the hotel we originally booked cancelling within 24hrs of our arrival on a BH weekend. We had little option but to book anywhere that could accommodate 2 adults and 2 young children in 1 room very last minute. Upon entering the property we were overwhelmed by the stench of weed on our floor despite "no smoking" signs. We entered the room the double divan bed was broke and not held together. The curtains had holes in them and hang up with cable ties and the room smelt like it had been smoked in. We booked "a private bathroom (but not in the same room)". I assumed this meant we'd have sole use of a shower/toilet outside our room it didn't. It meant you have a full shared use of the same toilet and shower as everyone else in the property down the landing. What made that worse was there was no toilet roll available from when we went to use the toilet about 9pm to when we left at 8am. When we got back to the hotel at 9pm. Both external and internal doors we're propped open with fire extinguishers with no one in sight. With people rowing in the street all night. We left genuinely not felling safe.
I previously messaged them as I booked adina hotel but they got us to stop in the Galloway instead. Which was strange. Me and my children caught bed bug bites that’s how dirty this place was we are all covered still. I didn’t agree with sharing a bathroom and shower with other customers. The bathroom was filthy! Stay well clear from these places, if you are staying in Blackpool go elsewhere!
They over booked the b&b so we had to wait for them to find something for a family of 4 which took a while. They had placed a couple in our family room as they were also without a room due to over booking so they then had to move them yet again to put us in there, we then had to wait an hour for them to sort it (it was 6pm at this point with 2 young children) and when we got in there were crumbs on the bedside table. The hotel was filthy! Not one thing was clean. Even the sink in the room was despicable, it looked as though drug users had been burning things in it with the about of deep burns in the sink… the shared bathroom had no lock on the door, also the light didn’t work so we had to use our phone torches through the night. We couldn’t get a shower (not that we would have even if the door had locked) due to the door not being able to lock. The mattresses have certainly seen better days as have the walls and decor. I wouldn’t stay here again even if it was free.
