I strongly recommend that you DO NOT book this property. My family traveled over 10 hours, and I was extremely disappointed and embarrassed by the condition of this rental.My biggest concern was SAFETY. We could not properly secure the front door from inside the home, meaning we did not feel safely locked in at night. This was especially concerning because we did not feel safe or comfortable in the surrounding neighborhood. The backyard was also poorly lit, making it difficult to see around the property at night.The home had numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues. The upstairs shower handle came off, tiles were cracked and deteriorating, the stair banister was loose, futons were broken and dirty, and the coffee table and pool table were damaged. The advertised fire pit was unusable and neglected.The towels and washcloths were in such unacceptable condition that we had to go to Walmart and purchase our own. We documented everything with photos and videos and reported the problems.I understand normal wear and tear, but this went far beyond that. This property needs major cleaning, repairs, maintenance, and security improvements before being rented to another family.Please consider other accommodations. I would NOT stay here again or recommend this property to my family or friends.

There were several issues with this property that made our stay less enjoyable.The house was also not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. It appeared that a quick touch-up had been done, but it did not feel fully cleaned.The neighborhood has several abandoned homes on the street, which was unexpected.The air conditioning in the guest house was not working properly, and the upstairs of the main house stayed very warm. We had to get fans for some of the upstairs bedrooms to make them comfortable.There were issues with the TVs as well. The TV in the guest house did not have a remote, and the upstairs TV in the main house did not work.The property is also quite noisy, with frequent airplane and train noise.Lastly, communication was difficult. The contact number provided was never answered and always went to voicemail.Overall, the property needs improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, and communication to provide a better guest experience.
