I was concerned after reading some of the reviews but we needn't have been. The communal spaces were lovely, beautifully decorated and elegant. we had an amazing room overlooking the gardens and the city. staff were very helpful. the parking situation is a bit stressful though

Quite simply a very good hotel. Well located for rail station and then the city centre and thereabouts easily accessible on foot. Room spotlessly clean. The maid was extremely helpful, friendly & efficient. Everythimg we needed was available. Location was perfect. Would definitely visit again.
