Wonderful, huge room. Great staff and excellent service. There is a young English gentleman (John?) working in the bar who was super. I have recommended this establishment to friends.

The pool was a wonderful addition to this quaint place in the country, though still very close and convenient to the airport. The breakfast area is a beautiful glassed in setting looking into the countryside.

You need to stay here its a Monument of a building
I chose this place because it is 25 min from Port Bilbao and its out in the country with plenty of parking but when you get there you discover this fabulous monument of a building. I asked about its history at reception and they informed me that the building was sited 15km away and a motorway was going to go straight through it so the owner dismantled the whole place 20 years ago and rebuilt it on its present site, its just incredible and there are photos to prove it in the restaurant. I have stayed here twice .

Excellent location
Convenient location because of the proximity to the airport but beautiful surroundings. The hotel is a beautiful old palace in the middle of a forest. Nice ambience, decorations and staff.

So happy we stayed here for our trip to Spain. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff are great, not to forget the excellent traditional dinner menu too. Hopefully we will get to come back again someday soon!

Beautiful hill top estate overlooking the valley all around. Super close to airport for convenient get away. If you don’t play the pitch and putt golf course (hotel loans you everything), walk around the property, very peaceful.

The property is pretty, but old and dirty. There was no coffee maker in the room, no fridge either. There were no vendor machines and the caferia doesn't open until 7am so if you have an early flight too bad. Also they said the room has a king side bed, well, putting 2 beds together with the supper uncomfortable ends in the middle is not a king bed sorry.

Parking in front of entrance is fantastic ,but please put a sign on disabled request ,all those golf sport people park in front of the entrance ! No sunshine on our terraces .Staff supper friendly .Restaurant ,menu goes quick when you stay a week ,why not a menu of the day !? Also cold in the restaurant ! Pool water a little warmer should be nice .Overall ,nice place :) .

Great one night stay, before early departure out of Bilbao. Very close to the airport with a great restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The hamburger was very good. Hotel even has a driving range for golf.

This is a hotel with history and character. We had a room with a balcony to enjoy the warm weather and views over the countryside above Bilbao. It has a good-sized swimming pool but the water was a bit murky and only one of the underwater lights was working. The grounds and the golf course are wonderful for walks. The main positive for us was the staff -- what a helpful and friendly group! We especially appreciated Tamara's help!

Very nice country style mansion
Very nice old mansion. It’s a bit old but in good repair. It’s not like your posh city style modern hotel, but the ambiance fully makes up for it. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the restaurant is really good
