The host is fantastic and the breakfast was incredible. A great place to stay if you plan on visiting Glacier National Park. You feel like you have truly made a visit to Montana when staying at the Laughing Horse.

We absolutely loved our stay, we had two nights there. Had a delicious breakfast both mornings, the facilities are great, clean with a comfy bed and the courtyard gardens are so beautiful. The host is also so kind, we were just sad we didn’t have longer here.

This was an idyllic oasis of cozy cabins with fans for cooling during hot days and cool Montana nights for sleeping. The breakfasts were tasty and the evening meal was excellent. Friendly staff and owner/cook/hostess.

Our hostess was a friendly and informative person who gave great tips about the area’s attractions. She’s an amazing chef as well. Simon, the parrot, is a fine cohost who will welcome you and make some clever comments. I would recommend staying here.

It was a great stop for the night between Missoula and Glacier National Park. Comfortable room and a pleasant garden for enjoying a peaceful morning cup of coffee then a nice breakfast in the inn’s library. Not much in the area. Go to nearby Big Fork for things to do in the evening.

It was absolutely beautiful!! Beautiful flowers! It was clean! A. wonderful lady who owns it made a complimentary breakfast for us of bacon, eggs, and Huckleberry pancakes! It was delicious. I would advise people to stay here if you are in the area. I would give this place a 10 plus rating!

Absolutely amazing property. Such a hidden gem. Allowed into our room early to get out of the rain as we were biking through. Given hot tea. Evening meal was delicious, as was the breakfast to get us started the next day. Kathleen is a gem of a host. I can't recommend this property enough for cozy, friendly, clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Excellent daily breakfast from Kathleen! Be advised of self check in and that you may not have cell reception in the area, so check the map and your welcome letter from the Expedia “messages” ahead of time.

Upon arrival, I was a little suspect. No one is there to check you in (we were told this ahead of time). Once we read all the posted signs, and figured out where to drive/park, we made it to our room. What a lovely surprise. The room was lovely, welcoming, and comfortable without a lot of extras. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. In our paperwork, the WI-FI password was provided, but in our room (#5), there was no Wi-Fi to connect so that was a bit disappointing - manageable but disappointing. Had a great night sleep and started the day with a fantastic home-cooked breakfast. Kathleen was so engaging and personable and made us feel like family. I would definitely stay there again if I were in the area. One word of caution - website information is different than reality and there are no dining options within 15-20 miles of the lodge if the lodge dining room is closed - which it is open only 3 nights a week. So, plan ahead. Our dinner consisted of snacks from our travels because we were not aware of that so didn't plan ahead! But overall - what a great place! Thanks Kathleen!

This was definitely the highlight of our vacation. We were very fortunate to have found this little slice of heaven on such short notice. I booked less then 24 prior to arriving. The cabins are very clean and truly rustic. No need for fancy schmancy here :) The host Kathleen introduced herself after hosting a private function on the property and made us feel very welcome. With talking to a few of the other guests who were also staying, they were very happy with their stays. Breakfast and coffee were served in the morning in the main cabin. Kathleen does all the cooking! She truly is a woman of all trades. The resident dog, cat and bird also made themselves present. If you are looking at using the Laughing Horse Lodge as your place to decompress and leave the hustle and bustle from where you are behind you, book now! You won't regret it.

The place had a beautiful garden and the rooms were small but cute. Breakfast was amazing each morning. We did not know you had to make a reservation for the restaurant (I guess if you book on their website you are made aware) so we were unable to eat there any of the 3 nights. The only choice for a meal is a Trading Post( serving pizza and sandwiches)or driving into the Big fork area. In addition, we discovered mice in our room on the last day when we saw 2 of them run across the small table. We had to throw a lot of things away. There was no offer for any kind of compensation. This surprised us.
