"This cabin was a great spot for our family getaway. The game room, hot tub, and fire stove kept everyone entertained, especially the kids. While a couple of the game room items weren’t in working order, there was still plenty to enjoy and it didn’t dampen our experience. It was also a beautiful drive to WISP resort, where we spent some time on the slopes.Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this cabin to families looking for a fun, relaxing stay."

"House was very well kept for its age. It worked for what our group needed. Plenty of space for a group of 10. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because we had to shovel the snow ourselves on the driveway edge, sidewalk, and porch so that we didn't track snow all through the entryway. I understand the owners live out of the area though, so this is really on the property management company, especially since the snow was there for weeks before our trip."

"well, the host was very nice, the area i rented was very nice. there was a small make shift kitchen, the bathroom was very nice. the whole place was very clean and organized. that being said, it was not at all what i thought i was renting. this is a furnished basement in a house where people live. i thought vrbo specialized in whole property rentals. i was trying to get away from people and i could hear them walking overhead. this put a big damper on my vacation. i paid a lot of money (to me) to rent a place secluded from people and that is not what i got. there is no kind of information stating that this is a basement and the property is shared. i definitely would have found something different had i known this."

"The stay was appalling to say the least. The kitchen was unmaintained with ZERO cleanliness. There were multiple insects in bowls. The dishwasher did NOT work and it leaked water. Cobwebs literally everywhere inside the cabin. Washer and Dryer did NOT work nor were plugged in upon us getting to the cabin. Appliances were crusty, dirty, and smelled awful. Stovetop smelled like gas. Ceiling fan lights did not work. And the biggest issue of all is the thermostat did NOT work and upon calling Vacasa they stated they would call me back and they NEVER did, all the while it was -14 inside of our cabin. Not only does this have a risk of leading to hypothermia, but it was also a bad look on the company as they did NOT listen to our concerns. All in all I wouldn't recommend this cabin to ANYONE, not even my worst enemy. Steer clear of this cabin AT ALL COSTS!"

"We stayed at this beautiful home in Swanton for two nights over New Year’s Eve, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is ideal for a large gathering or a family reunion — incredibly spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and exceptionally clean.The views surrounding the home are stunning and really add to the overall experience. Everything was well organized and clearly explained ahead of time, so even though the host was very responsive, we hardly needed to reach out because everything was so easy and smooth.This home truly felt welcoming and comfortable, and it was the perfect place to celebrate together. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, stress-free stay in Swanton."
