"Our room was very clean! A little small but all we needed. Older motel but very clean. The area by lake is very nice and view was good. The reservation is thru Expedia. The office is only staffed at limited times however the phone number provided a responsive call back. Be sure to call ahead for check in to arrange for your key. Would definitely go again!"

"very nice property and perfect pool for adults and kids , also you can see wild life in the backwaters and even enjoy a campfire. the owners are very nice , also the staff. the amenities in the rooms are perfect. small refrigerator and microwave and all bathroom and shower needs . upgrade rooms have even more options we have stayed here before. great price and great location. breakfast available grab and go style with fresh fruit bananas and such . definitely recommend"

"Absolutely wonderful property. It was clean, as advertised, well stocked, and roomy. Our group of 6 adults had plenty of space. It is on a steep hill but that didn’t bother us, it is walking distance to town so that was nice. If we visit this area again this is the first property I’m checking availability on. Thank you!"

"We loved staying here! David and Sharon were wonderful, kind hosts and they communicated very well. They set up so we could bbq and picnic and Sharon brought us fresh zucchini! The apartment was just right, we loved the colorful beach-themed kitchen and everything was very clean. We loved the beach view from our kitchen and patio tables. It was so cozy to come “home “ to this sweet apartment after a day at the beach or Sleeping Bear Dunes and the location was perfect, in town and also steps from the beach. A wonderful stay and we’re excited to visit again! Thank you David and Sharon! "

"The house was remodeled on the inside and was very well done. We enjoyed meals and games at the extendable dining table. Kitchen had nice baking dishes and pots and pans but only one dish towel so you might want to bring several. There was a regular coffee pot but no k-cup capability. Our kids brought their own Espresso machine. All bedrooms were upstairs and easily access the upstairs bathroom and hall laundry. There were reading lamps beside the beds which was important to us and beds were comfortable with beautiful views of Crystal. Our family really enjoyed using the paddle boards and a kayak, so much fun out in the lake. Even though there are some rocks closer to the shore, there is a sandy bottom with occasional rocks or a few sticks beyond that. We found beach water shoes just made it more comfortable. The screened porch was a wonderful place to read or watch the lake activity. The road between the house and the beach had bicycles, walkers, and cars/trucks periodically. We rented a very nice pontoon boat for one afternoon and easily loaded and unloaded on the dock at the house. We rented canoes at Riverside Canoes, always a favorite, and completed the trip just as the smoke from Canada started to roll in. We spent the next day and a half inside the house playing games and reading until we purchased some N95 masks which enabled us to enjoy going to the shops and dinner in Frankfort and visiting Point Betsie Lighthouse. Many great memories created!"
