Inviting couples and small families, this delightful holiday cottage is located in the heart of an atmospheric village with walking trails, pubs, restaurants and independent shops close by. There are four sandy beaches on the island, all with amazing views. The nearest (200 metres) is perfect for sunrise and sunset strolls. Look out for the occasional grey seal and dolphin in the water too. Head to Lindisfarne Priory, once home of St. Cuthbert (less than half a mile) and see the charming harbour on your way to exploring the 16th-century Lindisfarne Castle (0.5 miles). Spend time in the Gertrude Jekyll Garden also (0.5 miles). Discover England’s northernmost historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed (13.5 miles), while Bamburgh Castle, beach and village are a must-visit (16.5 miles). Book a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses (19.5 miles) to see an array of seabird species, grey seal colonies and puffins.
Step inside this lovingly refurbished and tastefully furnished, spacious cottage to find a bright and welcoming atmosphere in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. There are windows to the front and rear flooding light into the living space. The lounge has a large, comfortable sofa and a rocking chair to relax on in front of the wood burner for cosy evenings, while a Smart TV stands ready for movie nights. There is a well-equipped kitchen with all you need to whip up a holiday feast, and the dining area has plenty of seating so you can enjoy a delicious meal together. Open the French doors in the warmer months to enjoy outside/inside living. The two bedrooms are upstairs. The double bedroom has a large, south-facing window. You will find plenty of storage space for your things, an accent chair, and a hairdryer. The tranquil twin bedroom overlooks the rear garden. With underfloor heating, the well-appointed family bathroom comprises a shower over the bath and completes the interior.
Outside, the rear garden is fully enclosed and has garden furniture for relaxing, al fresco food and drinks. This verdant, peaceful outside space is the perfect spot to start the day with a quiet coffee or end it with an evening tipple.

- On-street parking with parking permit for 1 car
- Shops, bars and restaurants 0.1 miles, beach 0.2 mile2
- Note – there is a shared path in the rear garden for two neighbours to access their own back doors
- Note – the property is only accessible when it is safe to cross the causeway to the island and therefore the arrival and departure times may vary depending on this. Please be aware that occasionally this may mean the departure time will be 8.30am. - For safety reasons, no EV charging is allowed at the property. EV charging points x4 are in Green Lane coach/car park (0.1 miles). They require the evcharge.online app.
